Emery only believed a portion of the rumors regarding the Chapter of Ascension. After reading through the notes and personal reflections, he could ascertain that the Chapter of Ascension was genuine. What was written inside the Chapter of Ascension was indeed capable of completely changing a martial artist's way of thinking.

Trisha heard Mrs Perry complain as she glided through shelves teemed with ages-old books before she could be pulled into hours-long conversation with the old lady.
