Just not yet, because not everyone's here!" He froze. The next second, Karina's shrill scream tore through the dead-still hall below. "Father! Where are you! Get up here! This bitch Layla is waving a gun around in front of everyone. She's got no respect for our family at all!" The moment her cry died away, I smiled. "Have you lost your mind?"

"Who would act normally when he saw what happened earlier when he came to the strange house he was going to live in? I'm shocked!" I snorted.

Sean and Suzan had no idea that Larissa had seen through what they thought was a perfect plan. Larissa snapped her fingers. "MAVIS, over to you." Suddenly, Sean's gaze shifted. "You measly ants!" He began to shake violently, and his skin began to fall off. Larissa was shocked. She backed away with Vincent and Birdie. Amid a pile of blood, Sean stood up. His initial plump body had disappeared. Instead, he emerged as a skinny, skull-like monster. "What monster is that?" Larissa tugged the two children to dodge the monster.

Savior employees were afraid about the fate of the company; his business partners were anxious because there were still projects that had not been completed; and Sean was confused about how to convey the news to Rowan. Seeing the assistant's unusual movements, the old man raised an eyebrow. “What's wrong, Sean? Has there been a report from your friend? He just got out of the cell. His hands must be itchy since he hasn't shed blood for a long time. So, that woman is dead, right?” Rowan asked in a relaxed tone. Sean took a faint breath. "Sorry, Sir. There’s a mistake." The old man's expression instantly darkened. "What do you mean? She is still alive?”

“I didn’t say anything.” “No, you did!” Xena quickly caught up, grabbing his arm. “This has something to do with Layla?” Sean yanked his arm free, glaring at her. “Why are you even here? You’d better stay out of my sight. Disappear. From now on, you and I have nothing to do with each other.” Xena let out a cold, bitter laugh. “Sean, you ruined my life. You took away my ability to have children. And now you think you can just walk away like nothing happened? Are you kidding me?
