She understood the weight of unfulfilled dreams and the feeling of putting them aside for some reasons. "Emma, Sarah, it's never too late to pursue your dreams," Mitchell said, her voice filled with determination. "I've learned that it's important to believe in ourselves and to never let go of what truly makes us happy. If Mr. Robert has shown us anything, it's that dreams can be supported and nurtured, no matter where we are in life." Emma and Sarah exchanged glances, "I think it's time we make plans to revisit our dreams," Emma said. "If Mr. Robert will be willing to support us again, then maybe we should give our dreams another chance."

Melina is startled awake when the nightmare ends. She closes her eyes and tries to calm her racing heart. Melina just had the same nightmare again. It’s the same one she has been having for three weeks. Opening her eyes, she runs her hand through her hair and drops her legs to the side of the bed. Melina can’t believe she really thought if she left that house, the memories of what happened would vanish. She sighs and places her hands on her temple. These past three weeks have been hell. She even wishes she hadn’t come out of numbness.

She had been betrayed once before, and she refused to let it happen again. As she walked out of Ethan's life, Lily felt a sense of sadness but also a sense of relief. My tone was dry and all I wanted right now was water or at least something to quench the thirst. A face appeared above mine. "Emery," he said my name like he was trying to get my full attention. "This is your choice." His eyes which were gold, glittered at me like stars from a night sky. "To have a second shot at life only in a different point of view." I didn't need to be asked twice. In a stable but weak voice I replied, "Yes."

I had seen it in my dream but it was all noisy that I wasn't able to make out the message until I had woken to her making the rash decision that resulted in her life being snatched away. It's been a hundred year's now and still, nothing. Just emptiness, empty halls and empty achievements. I had earned it. Everything I promised her, I've achieved. Expansion of the pack, unifying of the northern packs in one and creation of more pack clans in the quarters and installing Alphas to take charge in subservience to me. I have done them all. Achieve all her dreams. But still, Nothing.

Everyone wanted a connection to them. Coincidentally, this poor, blind girl shared the same name, but she could barely move through the world on her own. I looked at her blank eyes with pity and spoke softly, "I'm Caleb Vaughn, from Vaughn Enterprises. I'm sorry for dragging you into that mess today. I can get you the best doctors to treat your eyes, but only if you agree to marry me. If you're willing, just nod." She nodded. I didn't make a show of it. There was no need for dramatics.

Just let them fall. Typed back through blurry vision. "I'll be waiting. I'd wait forever for you." "You won't have to. I promise. I'm going to fix this. Fix us. Fix everything." Another message came through. "Go to sleep now, baby. Dream of me. Dream of us. Dream of our family back together. Because that's what I'm dreaming of." I smiled through my tears. Typed one last message. "Only if you promise to dream the same thing."

I knew couldn’t make the same mistake again because the Moon Goddess didn’t grant second chances lightly. When I found Cassie at Magnolia Hotel, I hadn’t realized she was my second chance mate until Ice practically screamed it in my head. Everything clicked into place then, and I knew I had to bring her back, no matter the cost. Her stubborness, her coldness, didn’t matter. She was mine, and I wasn’t going to lose her again. Not to Jake. Not to anyone. Cassie finally looked up at me again, her voice breaking the silence.

“Sophia looks incredible. And you look like you’ve won the lottery. I’m really happy for you both.” “Yeah, feels like a dream,” I admitted, a grin spreading across my face. “I never thought we’d get here, but here we are.” Trevis chuckled. “It’s a rare thing to get a second chance at something this perfect. So don’t take it for granted again. Don’t lose it anymore.” I laughed. “Yes, sir. I’ve learned my lesson.”
