The Cruel Alpha's Fated Bride

The Cruel Alpha's Fated Bride

Overwhelmed, I stand there stunned, the weight of the news sinking in. I cautiously step into her dimly lit room, the soft glow of the machines casting an eerie ambiance. The rhythmic beeping fills the air, intermingling with the steady hum. I strain my ears, desperate to discern the baby’s heartbeat amidst the cacophony. And then, in a fleeting moment, a gentle thud resonates, barely audible.

To Capture His Heart

To Capture His Heart

Garret asks. “Yeah… Let me double check…” The tech says. The pulse of a heartbeat sounds through the room. My heart finally calms down. The baby was fine… Garret squeezes my hand and I look at him. He gives me a faint smile. “Do you hear that?” Dr Reed asks us. We look at her. “Hear what?” I ask. “There’s more than one heartbeat. You see right behind your one baby, there’s another hiding…” she shows me.

Seductive Vibrations

Seductive Vibrations

She doesn’t tell us much she just keeps whispering, and one of the ladies leaves, coming back with a man. This can’t be good. He peers at the screen and checks to see if he can find the baby. I feel my heart break; something has happened. “Well, there is a heartbeat.” He smiles, and together we hear the heart beating. “And there is a second heartbeat,” he turns, smiling at us, moving it again so we can hear the other heartbeat. Lying here, I take it in. Are there really two? Jackson looks worried. “The baby has two hearts? How is that even possible?” He looks at me with concern.

Broken Luna, Rising Wolf

Broken Luna, Rising Wolf

I asked. “I doubt little one, but something doesn’t feel right….” Then I heard it. A second heartbeat. I froze. It was soft, faint—but unmistakable. I blinked, pressing a hand to my chest, then lower... my stomach. Was this possible… My breath hitched. I closed my eyes, listening again. Thump-thump... thump-thump. Tears flooded my eyes. I wasn’t alone. I placed my trembling hand over my abdomen, a sob escaping my lips. The heartbeat, it wasn’t mine. It was smaller, but I just knew it somehow.

It sounded like my baby had just finished a race because his heart was really racing like a horse. “That’s the heartbeat of your second baby." * #TBC

Claimed by the Seven Alphas

Claimed by the Seven Alphas

The screen's cold light rendered his face nearly pale, the reflection on his lenses hiding the eyes behind them. But he knew his own heart rate at that moment. He had measured it. It matched the rhythm of his keystrokes, the frequency with which he refreshed that curve. He pulled his hands from the keyboard and pressed one to his chest. The heartbeat was heavier than he had anticipated, each beat distinct and palpable.

The Alpha’s Contract

The Alpha’s Contract

A heartbeat echoes around the room followed by an extra beat. “Neah, you are further along. Give or take six weeks.” “I am?” "You didn't know?" "No." “What’s wrong with the heart beat?” I demand “Nothing, it is just what it sounds like when a mother is carrying twins.”

This book is not really completed. The story ends in the middle of a jump and we should continue reading book 2 but there are no updates. If you don't care that the book is unfinished - it was interesting with good dynamic and the plot is good. A lot of main characters die so don't take liking one

The 1st story I've finished up to where the Author has written. I wish I could reach through the screen and help them as this story has been a comfort the past 6 months, during bad house moves and surgeries. Engaging, entertaining, and fascinating. will never stop hoping for an but hope author is ok

The Sickened Luna's Last Chance

The Sickened Luna's Last Chance

Eve Above Storyalpha's rejected mate
I lifted my brows, but placed the stethoscope in my ears and listened while Tony positioned it over my heart—or rather, just above it. At first, I heard nothing more than my own heartbeat; even that was faint and muddled to my untrained ears. But then, as I strained to listen, I finally heard… something. It wasn’t my own pulse. That was steady and calm, although perhaps a little faster than usual. No, this was something different. The beat wasn’t in tandem with my own heartbeat, but rather opposite—when my pulse paused, the crystal pulsed twice. It was like a second heartbeat was there, operating slightly off from my own.

The Hidden Luna Queen

The Hidden Luna Queen

Eve Above Storymom said it's my turn
My body, growing warm, trembled with every beat of my heart, and yet, when I pressed my hand against my chest, it was as gentle as ever. And then slowly, I began to feel something odd… like my heart was skipping. Like it was out of sync, trying desperately to intertwine with something I couldn’t see. There was a strange rhythm to it, almost as if my pulse was beginning to race, but it didn’t feel like it was my own, anymore. There were two. Two heartbeats inside me—and there was a familiarity that I couldn’t deny. A name jumped to the forefront of my mind… I wasn’t sure how and I wasn’t sure why, but I knew it to be right.

Liked this story. I read it because I loved one of the author's previous stories, so I felt like I was going to love this one too. And it was so true! However, I'd love it even more if you could update? Please? I'm thrilled to know what would happen next! Please! Pretty please!

How often are the chapters added? As an avid reader I'm loving the story, but now I'm having to wait for more chapters. The top ups are not cheap so I cannot afford to use them to start another book. Also I hope this book is not short lived, meaning so many unanswered questions involving characters.
