Mara’s jaw clenched, and her eyes turned sharper than they already were. Even her nose was flaring, indicating how angry she is at me. She was trying so hard to smile at me as she breathed deeply continuously, trying to calm herself, not lose her composure, and not look like a bitch in front of Caesar, but she was failing. Instead of smiling, her lips had only twitched with her eyes bulging, making her look weird.
