The ritual started with a naked woman dancing at the circle, appeasing the spirit. Voices echoed as they chanted in old Za'arish—a language that was long dead— inviting an entity to appear before them. Sacred relics eerily fell from the pedestal as the ground vibrated along with a thunderclap. And the men saw the spirit materialized from the smoke that sent chill to their spine. But they didn't flinch— the ritual must go on. The chanting went louder as the heavy rain fell in the sky. They worshipped God's glory until dawn, and from the circle where the painted pentagram was, the floor begins to crumble, revealing a pool of lava underneath them.

A smirk suddenly painted on my lips. "Lend me a hand, Sarreth. I need to get out of Silvania. Help me." I said without second thoughts. Sarreth's laugh rings in my ears. This motherfucker. "Well, I'm in mortal world right now. Wanna come here with us?" Sarreth, asking me. I just raised my right brows. Mortal world? Sarreth was in humans world? Ha! Living with a lot of food? I smirk. "Sounds fun." I replied.

In his classic work The Aeneid, Virgil describes a cave with a hundred entrances that led deep beneath the earth—and as far as the underworld itself. "Hey, I found a passage in the Philippines. How about we try this one?" Ahri asked. " It says, there are two ways to travel; first is via rivers that would eventually lead to a subterranean system that would eventually join one single stream and lead to an underground ‘metropolis’ and the center of the universe. On Panay however, the mainstream will not lead to the underworld, but through Guimaras, to Negros, and eventually to Mount Kanlaon. From there, the gatekeeper, Cerberus, a dog with three heads will sniff your soul and will tell the grim

,he said when he noticed the terrified expression on Layla's face. Of course Layla knew about them. Riven had told her about the story of the last great war that broke out between the supernatural creatures and the rulers of the underworld. It had been a fierce and bloody battle, but in the end Riven had won the war and locked the seven devils in Tartarus, a terrible pit where the souls of the damned were sent to. The demons of the underworld were imprisoned too in hell, never to be released. How then did Zeke plan to release them?

Chapter 112: Embrace In the ethereal realms that transcended the limits of mortal comprehension, Isabella and Luca found themselves immersed in a chapter that defied the boundaries of time and space. They stood at the precipice of eternity, their souls entwined in an eternal embrace, as they witnessed the culmination of their cosmic journey. As they beheld the infinite expanse before them, their hearts swelled with a profound sense of fulfillment and serenity. They had traversed the realms of existence, overcome trials and tribulations, and now they stood as eternal beings, woven into the fabric of the universe itself.

Angels appeared in a variety of guises and, when it came to a certain time, a descendant of angels and demons was born to people, who would sweep all people off the face of the earth . They called him the word Ultima, the last. I looked up at Scott, terrified. It was a good thing he didn't see it! On the very last page there was a list of all the Ultima. It turns out there were an awful lot of them. And there was also a list of angels and archangels approaching the end of the world! And the first were Rahiel and Raphael. I saw Raphael once in my life. And, it seems, he has the same monastery...

The earth shuddered. The song deepened to a roar, and the ground cracked open down the ravine’s center. Heat rushed upward, laced with the smell of old salt and metal. Kaelira threw an arm over Taren as light flared. When the dust cleared, a staircase spiraled down into crimson glow. Zevran swore softly. “A descent gate. The witches built them to reach the under-forges.” “Which means Serane lied,” Kaelira said. “She always lies,” he answered. “The trick is guessing which lie serves truth.”

Andrew chuckled. "You all remember what was written on the treasure map, right? 'The Fallen Crimson Dynasty treasure… the Underworld Kingdom of the Dead, the bliss of the fallen, the hell of the living.' "The Underworld Kingdom of the Dead, the bliss of the fallen—that sounds exactly like an underground empire, like Emperor Zenith's tomb. And in ancient times, only something like the royal tomb could be built on such a massive scale. At the very least, it had to belong to some insanely rich tycoon or a powerful warlord."

A place tourists passed without noticing—its stained glass shattered, its altar long desecrated. But beneath the crumbling pews and rotted floorboards, the earth had been hollowed out. Riccardo’s intel said the underground structure was reinforced, modernized, and guarded by at least fifteen loyalists. Camilla, Marco, and two field agents entered through the sewer tunnels, oxygen masks tight as they moved through the chemical-laced runoff. When they emerged inside, it felt like stepping into the underworld. Flickering lights. Metal walls. Surveillance panels blinking like the eyes of sleeping monsters.

Only the High Priestess remained impassive and unmoved. “What story is he telling them?” “It’s a version of Inanna’s journey to the underworld, but a much older version than anyone in Uruk had ever heard. Isimud’s version was more ferocious, more violent and more steeped in blood than any that has been told since. This, like every truth in Isimud’s heresy, made it incredibly dangerous.” “I don’t think he’s going to get his pardon.” “He won’t need it.”
