A scream, inhuman, shredded through the evening, a wailing cry of agony and heartache, and Deluna fought, attempting a counterattack, but Naomi moved, almost in a blur.

Either way, she did not like the way she was feeling at the moment. The main factor that contributes to her build-up anxiety has to be the incident that happened last night. Thinking about it makes her blood run cold. She can still feel his emotionless eyes glaring at her, and his hatred radiating even from afar. I caught air to breathe as I clasped my chest to supposedly decrease the tension I am feeling but it just can't help. I tweaked my all hair that it was almost been peeled from my scalp. I groaned but I was only been like a statue as Kill started to speak again. I hopelessly looked at him as he slowly cut his wrist using his claws from his other hand. “You have no choice, Night. My blood is the only thing that can make you breathe. You will do whatever I say, as I will repay all of it as a debt,” he slowly said in a low and husky tone. He then arose from sitting as I once again face palms myself then hopelessly laughed.

Antonio and Benigno flank me as I watch the crowd fall silent the moment they notice me. “Tonight is the Blood Moon, the one night where we always drink and dance until morning, but not this night.
