She didn't want Vanessa to be late for her date. Vee proceeded to her room, took a shower and then changed into black skinny jeans and an oversized knit sweater. Her hair was put into a bun and she slipped her feet into her black furry slippers. Vee sat on her bed and occupied herself with her phone until 9 pm. The brown girl looks at me from head to toe then moves to her desk where she removes some Dr Martins. “If those don't fit that's your problem.”
