Serena Darien Novelas e Histórias

I look up to find Eliana leaning against the stone pillar right next to my table. She looks smug this morning, which is weird. “Tell who what?” I ask, keeping my voice flat. Although I know what she is insinuating. She looks around the diner before speaking again, lowering her voice. “That King Sven is a Fae.” “And how are you so sure about that? Because as far as I know, he isn’t,” I reply immediately, keeping a straight face. Eliana scoffs, taking a slow step toward me, her eyes glancing down at my bandaged neck before moving up to my face. “I know you know something.”

Aria’s fingers curled slowly against the side of her dress, close to where the blade rested. “I get that sometimes.” Serena studied her for another long second. Then she smiled again, softer this time. “I’m Serena of the Northern Bloodline. Since we’re both here tonight, I imagine we’ll be seeing more of each other.” She glanced once more at Lucien. “Enjoy the evening.” Then she turned and walked away, pale hair catching the light as she rejoined the crowd. * * * Only when Serena was fully out of hearing range did Aria release the breath she had been holding.

"That's all I'm asking." We sat in silence for a moment. Then she asked me who I had been paired with. "Tanya Lorde from Eastmark." Serena pursed her lips. "You know her?" I asked. "I saw her fight at Ironridge," she said. "She didn't get much attention because she was in a different group, but I was watching." "And?" Serena rubbed the side of her neck. "She shifts into an eagle. A mighty one. Her wingspan in shifted form is wider than anything I saw at that camp. And her talons."

Leander asks quietly, catching the change in me immediately. Before I can answer, the doors to the hall open. The sound echoes too loudly in the sudden silence. Every head turns. She steps inside as though she has never left. Serena Draxen—alive, unmarked, wrapped in pale fabric that clings softly to her frame like an apology made visible. Her hair falls loose over her shoulders, lighter than I remember, her face thinner, eyes too large, too bright. She looks fragile. Breakable. Exactly as she always knew how to look when she wanted the world to forget the sharpness beneath.

“But she’s the daughter of the alpha of the Blue River Pack.” “Serena James,” Damon says, catching both me and Theo off guard. “You know her?” I ask. “Yeah, man.” Damon nods. “Met her at a party. She doesn’t go to our academy, but she’s actually here. On this ship.” “Just fucking great,” I mutter, taking another drag. “She’s actually beautiful. A solid ten,” Damon adds with a grin. I glare at him, and he raises his hands in mock surrender. “Sorry, man. Just kidding.”

Suddenly, Chantelle's eyes fluttered open, and she looked up at Delcan. A smile spread across her face, and she reached up to touch his cheek. "Hi," she said softly. Delcan felt his heart skip a beat. He had never seen her look at him like that before. "I didn't mean to wake you," he said, his voice low and gentle. Chantelle sat up and took his hand in hers. "You didn't," she said. "I was just resting my eyes." She looked down at the outfit she was wearing and blushed. "What do you think?"

he answered in a joking time. Sebastian watched as they walked away, serena was quite an impression on the people she was meeting, she may not have money but she sure had lot of other qualities. Serena sat and listened to Darrey talk, she found his voice, appearance, laughter fascinating, she listened with rapt attention with smiles on her face, she mostly enjoyed hearing him talk about his journey to fame in the music world, the pains, struggles, and now the enjoyment, he was about telling her how he met his wife when someone came over and whisked him away, Serena was clearly annoyed.

Roberta sighed dreamily. “Oh, can it, would ya?” Serena prickled, and blew out an exasperated breath. “I’m no freakin’ goddess, all right? I’m me. Serena Sikes.” Serena shot up from the vanity seat, swayed dizzily for a moment, and stalked out of the dressing area. Where she thought she could go, she didn’t know, but she knew she couldn’t stand to be near a mirror nor in that room for another minute.

Shrugging my shoulders, I turned to glance at the party, I made eye contact with Elijah as he chatted up with my bubbly sister, she was grining from ear to ear like the chesire cat, anymore desperate Quinn and you'd score him. Quinn had her hands all over his right arm, as she was most likely sweet talking him. That's all she's good at it, yet she was the perfect daughter, there are many words to desrcibe Quinn Brinx, and none of them is 'perfect'. Her silky grey dress hugged her body, falling down her chest just enough, to show cleavage, way to go Mom. I lookec back at Mira who was also eyeing the pair, she made a face then turned her back to them, keeping her focus on me.
