I just stared at him, unable to say anything. He introduced himself to me and after a very lengthy conversation I learnt that he was the leader of the group he called 'the Rebel'; That their planet had been taken over by The Force, a group that overthrew the government, killed almost everyone of them with supernatural abilities that refused to work for them and enslaved other citizens. The Rebel was formed to identify those with powers and bring them such that when their numbers grew big they would rise up against the Force and reclaim their land.

Adrian followed her scent but it was weak, then her honey-lemon scent was replaced by the scent of blood and he ran faster as the scent of blood became stronger, then he walked into a clearing and found Serene laying in her own blood, her heartbeat was faint, she was almost dead, Adrian ran to her and fell to the ground beside her as he pulled her into his hands. "Serena, love, Serena wake up, please wake the fuck up, you can't die, I'm sorry, please wake up," Adrian begged as he lifted her up in his arms and took her towards the castle, her lycan healing wasn't as fast as he expected, was it because she was a hybrid?

I'd walked into heaven. The atmosphere gripped me by the lapels and tugged me in, telling me this was where I belonged. The walls, the surfaces, the ceilings were allwhite. The art on the walls and the sparse furniture were, contrastingly, bright colors. A neon green, serpentine sofa sat dominantly in the middle of the room. Colors. A mixture of really bright colors everywhere. Yeppers, I was in my zone.

Catherine took a deep breath to calm herself. "Catherine, I'm sorry, but..." Tatiane reached out and put her hand on top of her colleague's fist. Her tone of voice was calm. "Is there anything else? In the past, I mean, something you would like to tell someone? I know we only met a day ago, and sometimes these things are very personal, but talking to someone who doesn't know your past can be good. I promise not to pass on what you tell me here, even because it won't add anything to me. Just a friend to vent to. Your anger is genuine, but my intuition tells me there's something more."

Noong bata ako ay nakita ako sa dalampasigan. May kwintas na nakasuot saakin at may pendant na singsing kung saan may nakauikit na pangalang Serene. Pero hindi ko iyon sinuot. How come my biological parents gave me a necklace and not a letter? Nakakatawa diba? But I really wished that it was a letter. A letter full of explanations why they left me. I don't want to grow full of questions but here I am compiling questions that I can't even ask.

“Lorelai declared herself queen of the garden. Jade and Lex are now her official royal painters.” I watched Jade draw a wonky crown on Lorelai’s wild curls, still muttering to himself about getting the sparkles just right. “They taking commissions?” I asked, raising a brow. “Only in Skittles,” Sofia replied, sipping her coffee. “Or emotional support stickers. I think Alexei has a ledger.” I snorted. “He would.” We sat like that for a moment—quiet, comfortable, grounded. A luxury I didn’t take for granted anymore.

“But how… how do you keep it together?” “You don’t. Not all the time. And that’s the point,” Cheyenne explained, her voice gentle now. “That’s why we have our spirits. Solana is your tether—your anchor. Trust her. Listen to her. And you can lean on me, too. We’re a team, remember? Even the best Disney princess needed her friends to save the day.” Serenya tilted her head, voice barely above a whisper. “I… I saw something. In a dream. A white wolf… with a crown of thorns and stars. I think it was Koa. And… I don’t understand why I saw her like that.”

She hears Alpha Devon ask, taking her attention away from Damien's figure. She smiles at him as she extends her hands to shake his, "Hey, I'm Serenity. A friend of Matthew's and a member of this pack as well" It's true, her and Matthew had come to a mutual decision to just remain friends and just that. She could feel Damiens eyes on her when she had said the word 'friends'. Devon takes her hand in his, and places a kiss on top of her hands causing her cheeks to redden. "It's a pleasure to meet you Serenity"

Serenity: “Have no fear. I am on my way. But don’t try to change the subject. We have Professor Davis’s class soon, and then you will be on your own, so good luck with that!” When Serenity arrived at the shop, she ran up to Crystal and gave her a big hug. Crystal knew it was Serenity, so she did not struggle, but when they parted, Crystal said, “I just found out that you’re a secret agent and that you’re working for Nathan. What is your purpose in approaching me? Tell me!”

Serenity sighed, checking her own weapon (a sleek pistol she kept in her vanity). "The problem with weeding a garden," Jackson kissed her grimly, "Is that if you leave one root, it grows back." "Then let's go pull it out," Serenity said. The retirement lasted exactly twelve hours. The Sterling War Machine was back online. (Chapter 201 End)
