I'd walked into heaven. The atmosphere gripped me by the lapels and tugged me in, telling me this was where I belonged. The walls, the surfaces, the ceilings were allwhite. "I wanted this book... Spells and chantings" Angel showed the thick dark book. "Mom, i healed... I did it..." She smiled. Serenity smiled at her. "I am proud of you..." She kissed her forehead. When serenity touched Angel, her future flashed in front of her eyes. Serenity stepped back with loud and fearful gasp.

She hears Alpha Devon ask, taking her attention away from Damien's figure. She smiles at him as she extends her hands to shake his, "Hey, I'm Serenity. A friend of Matthew's and a member of this pack as well" It's true, her and Matthew had come to a mutual decision to just remain friends and just that. She could feel Damiens eyes on her when she had said the word 'friends'. Devon takes her hand in his, and places a kiss on top of her hands causing her cheeks to redden. "It's a pleasure to meet you Serenity"

Fortunately, the traffic was light, and it took her less than twenty minutes to get to the club. Serenity was waiting at the door for her. She was wearing a blue one-piece bathing suit that pushed up her breasts, blue bunny ears, and a black bow tie. When she saw Crystal getting out of the car, she immediately ran to meet her. Before she could say anything, though, Crystal looked her up and down and asked, “What are you wearing?” “This is my uniform,” Serenity replied. “It helps promote wine sales.” “That’s creative,” Crystal said. “Anyway, what’s going on with Nathan?”

Serenity sighed, checking her own weapon (a sleek pistol she kept in her vanity). "The problem with weeding a garden," Jackson kissed her grimly, "Is that if you leave one root, it grows back." "Then let's go pull it out," Serenity said. The retirement lasted exactly twelve hours. The Sterling War Machine was back online. (Chapter 201 End)
