Knowing who she was now, he found it hard to call her 'Serenity. "It's 'Serenity' to you," Serenity rebuked with a voice that lacked emotions. She sounded empty...like she was lost. However, her next words gave Shawn a glimmer of hope. "I want to forgive you. I really do," Serenity sighed with a bitter smile plastered on her face. "But...but there's still this part of me that loathes you. There's still this part of me that feels like ending your life whenever we're alone. And until I've come to peace with that part of me, I can't forgive you. At least, not completely."

Serenity shoved her arm down and gave her an angry expression. "El, you need to stop. I don't think fire comes from anger. If it did then you wouldn't be lighting yourself on fire. Take a breather and relax." Serenity began breathing deeply in through her nose and out her mouth. Elena copied her breathes and closed her eyes. She knew fire came from passion. I taught her that already. Why was she using her anger to call it when I told her it would drain her too fast. She was being a brat.

"I understand why you were so frightened, but I want to assure you that everything is going to be okay between us. I can feel it deep in my heart." She pauses, her expression becoming thoughtful and slightly mystified. "Actually, I'm experiencing this particular warmth deep down within my soul right now, and I strongly suspect that it's the divine being trying to communicate with me directly. She's trying to let me know that I'm going to be perfectly fine, that we're going to find a way to coexist peacefully." Serena's face lights up with unexpected joy as she continues. "I can feel this incredible sense of happiness and contentment overwhelming me, and I honestly have no control over these

She held it aloft.
