I feel like slapping the shit out of his mouth, or shove this fork down his throat. "You take yourself too seriously to even take or differentiate a joke. Come on, I am totally harmless, remember?" Harmless my left foot! May the devil screw his sweet lying mouth! Fuck his ridiculous jokes! "Hey! I was honestly kidding, alright?" He asserts when I just stare at him dry of words.

Through the hole in her mask, I see Harley Quinn smirk but she says nothing, merely watching us. “Tell us what you want and we’ll give it to you,” Dad says, the tone of his voice firm but pleading. “Just please let me and my family go.” The Joker cocks his head like he’s actually considering it. I know he’s really not. He enjoys playing with his victims. He’s been amusing himself with me every single time he came to check up on me and he doesn’t give a shit that he’s the only one who enjoys these ‘jokes’. He’s crazy and it’s pointless trying to have a normal conversation with him.

The almighty joker finally said something serious. "Like seriously?" Said Daniel as David increased his laughter. "Why are you laughing?" Daniel asked as he felt his ears stand to listen to the answer to his question. "What's so funny?" Daniel asked. "Ever since I knew You, today is the first day in my life I ever saw you talk so serious." David said as he burst into laughter for the second time. Daniel, hearing David, he sighed and spoke. "Oh! That's why you are laughing?" He Said. He sighed for the second time before he continued talking.

I find myself asking him angrily, with a very loud voice, forcing him to quickly turn his head to look at me with a serious intensity in his eyes. "You really want me to prove it to you right now? Don't worry, probably when the first person strikes you and renders you senseless, maybe that is when you are going to understand this is not a joke, Serena. Okay, we need to be serious right now. I am not fucking kidding." It is so hard to ignore the intensity in his voice, making it plainly obvious to me that this is a situation whereby we can't just cross our arms and allow fate to take its course.

His eyes locked onto mine. “If he ever hurts you again…” His words dropped like a stone in my chest, and I froze. “I will willingly kill.” I blinked. Shock stole my breath. My first reaction was disbelief. Then, against my better judgment, I let out a laugh. It was harsh, incredulous, but it came out anyway. “You… already know how to joke now, huh?” Jaron’s lips twitched, almost the ghost of a smile, but his voice remained steady, calm, and terrifyingly sincere. “I’m not joking.”

Lilith’s face turned red as she angrily glared at Javier, thinking he was being a j*rk. However, when she saw how serious he looked, she surprisingly felt that Javier was not joking but actually wanted her. There was no smile on his face, and his eyes were very firm, which caused Lilith to realize he was not joking. In fact, she even felt as though they were engaged in a very serious topic rather than something a j*rk would say to her.

He’d fucked this one himself a few times, and she barely acknowledged him as she kept moving on Trigger’s dick. “Bad time?” Joker said. “Nah.” He slapped the blonde on the ass. “Not really into it, anyway. Fuck off, bitch. Maybe later after a few drinks.” She shrugged, climbed off Trigger, pulled down her skirt. She wandered past Joker and he stood aside, giving Trigger a few seconds to get rid of the rubber and zip up. “So.” Trigger acted like he hadn’t just been balls-deep in some hellion. “What?” Joker shut the door. “Carter.”

"But since we're on the topic of roles, you do know your time will come too, right? Just like I and Osiris failed. So will you, and if you don’t die on the job like Osiris, you'll end up…. Just. Like. Me!” They laughed. Loud and obnoxious, one was a grating sound in my ears. The other? Sounded forced. "You’re something else. Seriously. I almost don’t wanna break your face." Joker drawled, wiping a false tear from his eye. "Almost?" I smirked. That one pissed him off, cause he slapped me. Hard across the face. My head snapped sideways, not really… just for dramatic flair. I let it hang, motionless. "Hey. Don’t kill him yet." Spear Guy said.

He looks at me, “You are an Alpha.” I narrow my eyes, watching him wave his arms wildly as he speaks. I have only known him a few days, but that is more than enough to know that this burst of emotion is not characteristic. Still, I don’t much appreciate having my attempts at friendship and civility tossed back in my face like so much dirty bathwater. “Do you want to know how I define serious?” I say in a low, angry voice, “Serious is a man who tells his son he will never be a real Alpha. Serious is a young man with no place to go. Serious is not an overturned vase and a wet floor.”

I said sternly. He sighed and lifted his hands in surrender. “Fine, fine. I’ll shut up. Go on, King Serious.” His playful tone vanished when I didn’t smile back. “Your condition,” I said tightly, “it’s getting worse. How do you expect me to stay calm when I can feel it?” “Relax, Jester.” He leaned back slightly. “We can’t control everything. I’m fine.” My jaw tightened. “No, you’re not!” I slammed my hand on the table. “You’re not fine, Lerio! I can save you—but not if you keep acting like you’ve already accepted death!”
