His jaw clicked. "Nothing's funny, Angel." I smiled sweetly reached for his jaw. I felt the pressure loosened. I could feel his weakness in the touch I had made on him. "Why are you always this serious huh?" I asked mockingly. He held my hand that’s holding him. The zoo inside me once again celebrated. "When it comes to you, jokes have no place." a streak of integrity echoed in his tone. I cocked my head and still pouted. I was about to lower my hand but he tightened his grip there so I could keep holding his jaw.

I say after a long while, trying my best to speak through my laughing fit. His dark gaze falls on me, examining me with boundless curiosity. He has his hands under his chin, appearing to be in a pensive mood. Eventually, I stop laughing like a mad man as the seriousness of the situation sets in. Realization hits me hard. He isn't joking. He is deadly serious. “You can't be serious.” I mumble under my breath, too afraid to raise my voice. His arched brow lets me know that he is enjoying this. Of course he is.

I tell him m with a grunt. “A joke. I understand you're sad that I want to stay away but can you refrain from calling our relationship a joke?" The chuckles turn into full blown laughter. Well someone is happy with women. Why would he not? “You are an idiot." “Okay now you are just jealous." And they laugh again. There is nothing remotely funny about this clown so I do not understand what they keep laughing at. “Can you be serious for once? I need to ask you about something."

Joker wheezed out between his chuckles. Shooter punched him in the jaw faster than I could see and Joker's head snapped to the right. His laughter stopped in and instant and he stared at his older brother as I shifted nervously. Shooter was a hot head and violent but Joker was insane. A fight between them would be bloody and deadly. "STOP!" Pres commanded as Joker stepped towards Shooter. Joker paused and looked at his Father. "Your Brother is right. This isn't funny." Pres spat at his second son who sent him an eerie smile with blood running down his chin and mouth.

Zack Moller, one of my friends, asked curiously, "Ryan, are you serious?" I downed a drink and responded, "Dead serious. It's over." The group exhaled in relief.
