I fell backwards on my rump and even the sting was not enough to take my eyes off him. He exhaled and the nearest tree turned to ash immediately. i scrambled backwards on impulse and the branch i had tripped on got caught in his web. He opened his eyes and twin pools of fire peered down at me. I didn't need Luna to tell me i was not looking at Zephyros anymore...no. Not entirely. What stared back at me was the Fire Dragon.

Well, shitballs. "Yeah, they're here." She shook her head, her rainbow and black hair fluttering with the movement. "That cannot be. They are an Earth order. They were contained. We contained them." "Okay, I'm going to need a little more information than that." "Iron Serpent, on Earth at least, wanted nothing more than to ascend into the power of the gods. I opened my eyes again and looked around. Baz was standing in front of me and Jennifer was still holding my hand. I squeezed her hand as she looked at me with big eyes. “We bow in your presence Typhon, father of all dragons and mightiest beast in all of the realms, we request the turning of this human so she may birth strong dragon children with her bonded half, her heart is pure and her intent is honorable,” Baz said. If I had it would suck, but I wouldn’t be about to be possibly murdered by someone who might not be human. A rumbling growl came from deep in Spencer’s chest and he leaned back slightly on his barstool. Watching me with those eerie looking eyes. “I’m a dragon.” The words were raspy and didn’t sound human. As her dragon glided along warm currents, tracking Ragnar's mate, she looked up from the valleys below and beheld a breathtaking sight. In the distance flew a gigantic white dragon, her crests were tinged a dusky pink, and Titan felt she'd never seen a beast so beautiful. This must be the Queen's dragon. Beating her wings to lessen the distance between them, Titan had to put real effort in to catch up, and she was puffing before she reached the Queen's tail. The guards instantly snapped to attention, their hands dropping to the hilts of their longswords. "Halt! Who goes—" the lead guard started, but the words were cut short. I didn't give them a chance to finish. It was said that if a snake were to absorb enough spiritual energy, it would become a serpent in five hundred years, and then transform into a dragon in five thousand years. Wilbur frowned. "This place is abundant in spiritual energy. It's perfectly normal that a serpent was forged here." However, the other two were scared out of their wits.
