I had no idea my pack had a hockey team now in high school. I pray silently that I do not see anyone I know, because I do not want to answer questions. “The first match is tomorrow, but for today, you can mingle, make friends, and have fun together because it is a Sunday.” He yells a slogan that I can barely make out. “We ball tomorrow!” With that, the entire school goes silent. Janet groans as she sits on her bed.

He swatted me on the butt before he strode into the bedroom, not bothering to shut the door behind himself. I headed down the stairs, trying to remind myself that it hadn't been long since we'd last had sex. We were finishing up with the Climax, not just starting it. We could make it an hour without jumping each other's bones. "Teagan," Rocco held his arms out toward me. "Welcome to the pack, permanently." A smile parted my lips. "Thanks." I gave a fake bow. You can pick one of them and show it to your father." Valerie stared at the flyers not sure which to choose. Alpha Jason took the Waterfall flyer from her. "I think the Crescent Pack is the best." Tommy demanded. "Since we go to Alpha Heirs Academy," Lucas said with the air of someone explaining something obvious. "It's a private school for pack families. We have standards." I'd forgotten that aspect of sending cubs to supernatural schools. The expectations, the politics, the fact that even five-year-olds were being groomed for pack leadership roles.
