Beneath the Shadows

Beneath the Shadows

“Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better.” The weight of his words hung in the air, and she felt the reality of her new world settle heavily around her. This wasn’t just about survival; it was about power, control, and loyalty in a game she was only beginning to understand. Enzo met her gaze, his eyes softened by something she hadn’t expected to see: respect. “You did well tonight.” Sienna lifted her chin, a faint smile tugging at her lips. “I told you I could handle it.”

Aurora and the ruthless Lycan king

Aurora and the ruthless Lycan king

Its ruin now served a darker purpose. The flickering blue flame in her palm cast an eerie glow across her face, highlighting the unnatural sharpness of her cheekbones and the glint of something not quite human in her eyes. She wasn’t born in darkness — she was forged by it. A hiss of breath broke the silence behind her. “You’re late,” Nora said without turning. The figure emerged from the shadows, her brown hair tangled, face drawn, but her steps as silent as a hunter. Emily. Her once-warm eyes were now stormy — rage and grief warping what used to be a loyal warrior of the king. The rogue mark burned on her shoulder, a brand of betrayal she hadn’t earned but wore like armor.

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

"Emma, we used to have an internal 'furnace' fueled by the Aether. Now, we just have... ourselves. If we don't find a way to reignite the 'Wild' without the Source, the North will be a graveyard before the sun rises." I stood by the window, wrapped in a cloak of heavy wolf-fur. My gold-amber eyes, once capable of seeing through a thousand miles of shadow, were now strained, searching the darkness for a sign of the enemy. I could feel the cold in my joints—a dull, aching reminder that I was no longer a goddess of the sun. "The Shadow-Prime isn't attacking with soldiers," I whispered, my breath a thick cloud of white mist. "He’s just waiting for the fire to go out."

A Flame in the Shadow

A Flame in the Shadow

Ember commands something deeper. I crest a ridge of jagged obsidian and stop. The sight nearly knocks the breath from my lungs. She stands at the center of a vast expanse of black glass. Shadow demons, thousands of them, form a massive circle around her. Horned giants, winged creatures with burning eyes. Beasts older than kingdoms. Every single one bowed. Not in fear, in reverence. Ember stands in the center of them like a queen who has finally stepped onto the throne she was always meant to claim. Gold light moves faintly through the darkness around her body, weaving through the shadows as if the realm itself were bowing to her. For a moment, I can only stare. In all my years here, I have n

The Alpha’s Pretty Mistake

Then I saw them. The Shadowborn. Their formation stretched through the forest, precise and silent. Their armor was not forged, but grown, metal fused with flesh, their veins glowing faint red beneath the skin. The split wolf sigil burned across their chests like an open wound. And at their center, walking with deliberate calm, was Emory. My son. His hair was longer now, streaked with soot and silver. His face sharper, colder, shaped by something that had forgotten humanity. One eye glowed gold, the other black, swirling faintly like smoke behind glass.

Letters in the Shadow

Letters in the Shadow

My pulse quickened as I pulled the brass key free from its hiding place. It was small, etched with delicate grooves that matched no standard door lock I had ever seen in our home. I held the brass key tightly in my palm, closing my fingers around it until the metal cut into my skin. I looked back at my reflection in the silver mirror. The terrified girl who had watched her family crumble in the storm was gone. In her place stood someone new—a prisoner wearing the silver ring of The Crimson Crest, standing inside the enemy's fortress with a hidden key in her hand and a spark of vengeance in her heart. The game had shifted. I was no longer running from the shadow. I was inside it.

The Empress and the Alpha

The Empress and the Alpha

Finally the two ghosts stopped and turned to face me. “Why are you following us?” The man asked. “I’m sorry, I just...I know you.” “How?” “You’re my great grandfather. Agaras.” His eyes widened. “Great grandfather? My bloodline continues to this day?” “Of course! A-and I have a brother.” I smiled. “Darling, we did it.” The woman next to him sighed happily. “We have descendants. Beautiful ones.” “You’re Gwenna. The first Empress of the Wanix. I’m Empress Zelda.”

I love this book so much. I’m glad I was a beta reader because it’s even better than when I first read it. I love the dynamic between Zelda and her family/people - as well as her dynamic with Penn and Hunter. I can’t wait to keep reading!!

I thought Zelda would only be the funny one. I didn't expect it would be the same with Hunter. The way he was rejected and said that he would tell it to his parents was just hilarious lol. The humor of this book is not something to be missed. This book is a must-read for great entertainment. Awesome

The Shadow Effect

The Shadow Effect

Matthias shouted to his parents, "Send Katana to my chambers now. Emma is in danger!" Matthias faded and entered their room to find Emma fading fast as a shadow sat upon her with a pillow held upon her head, suffocating her. He knew her heartrate was falling fast, and she was not long for this world. Charging at the shadow, he passed right through and fell upon the floor next to Emma. He was shocked at the power of the shadow and yet he couldn't attack it via normal means, he managed to pull the pillow away from her face and heard her breathing hitch, as she managed to take in the air to sustain her lungs.

My Shadow Mate

My Shadow Mate

I plead, and she looks into my eyes, searching for any hesitation, but when she doesn’t, she drops my hands and moves away. “Fine, I’ll tell you.” My excitement is swiftly wiped away by her next words. “The shadow god is an abomination. He was never supposed to be born. He’s the product of an unholy ritual, an anomaly.”

SHADOW OF VOW'S

SHADOW OF VOW'S

“I built this empire with blood, discipline, and control. I will not let one obsessed coward threaten what I’ve built. And I sure as hell won’t let him touch Alessia.” I paused in front of Emil. “You were on watch the night the note was delivered.” “Yes, sir.” His voice barely rose above a whisper. “What happened?” He swallowed hard. “We had a blackout for approximately seven minutes. Someone jammed the signal. We rebooted, and when it came back on, everything looked normal.” “Seven minutes is all it took,” I muttered. Zayn stood now too, tension building in his jaw. “We’ll fix it. I’ll personally lead the tracking. We’ll find him.”
