Dark Shadow followed at a safe pace, no need to alert the guy of his presence yet. He followed the guy to an empty abandoned parking lot where the guy stashed away the two swords in his possession, before driving back out. Dark Shadow continued to follow. He watched the dude meet up with the blonde and they had a few minutes chat before he was heading off again this time the blonde hot on his heels.

Golden arrows slowly emerged, timidly trying to chase away the shadows of the night. The great fire disc made its appearance. First, it emerged as a red line growing wider and wider until it rose victorious into the angelic blue sky, ready to stretch its arms over the whole earth. The ground rumbled with a deep roar, setting the stage for Jim as he led his crew of infant spirits into a clash with the Haunts that sliced through the wind.

The powerhouses at the border world were waiting for the strange creatures to attack. However, before an attack was launched on the formation, they sensed a terrifying fluctuation coming from the dark space outside of the formation. They immediately left the formation and located where the fluctuation came from. Just when James was about to hit his limit, the Hagios Sect’s Leader arrived with dozens of powerhouses and besieged the mysterious black shadow. An intense battle immediately broke out. Ultimately, the black shadow fled from the battle. Even though there were several powerhouses at the Transcendental Bliss Rank, they still failed to capture the black shadow.

"Row Four gate failure! The shadow-hound is loose!" My head snapped toward the noise. Out of the dark, dusty mouth of the eastern tunnel burst a Razor-Tusk Shadow-Hound. It wasn't a full Alpha war-beast, but a wild, mid-tier predator captured from the jagged crags of the northern wastes. The creature was the size of an iron forge-anvil, its skin covered in sleek, midnight-black scales instead of fur, with twin ivory tusks curving from its lower jaw. Its yellow eyes were wild, bloodshot, and frantic, driven into a rabid frenzy by the suffocating smell of silver blood, white smoke, and the roaring noise of ten thousand screaming wolves.

The last one was the one with the slow reflexes, before it could realise what happened, I grabbed its head behind the ears and twisted its neck till a sickening crack was heard. By the time I turned around, the other two had recovered from heir collision and was almost able to jump me from behind. I ducked away from one causing it to crash into the ground behind me and allowed the other one’s weight to slam into my fist, having the air knocked out of it, I didn’t waste time in flinging its body into a tree, rendering the creature unconscious.
