I willed one forward, it lanced across the yard, punching into the reinforced training dummy, cracking it in half.
"Defensive," Zane called out.
I shifted the shadows.
They flattened and spread, forming a dome around me, a shield of solid darkness.
Zane picked up a training weight, hurled it at me.
The weight hit the shadow dome, dissolved.
Not bounced.
Dissolved.
"Excellent."
Zane's eyes were bright.
"Restraint?"
I sent the shadows forward.
They wrapped around the nearest training post, coiled, squeezed, held.
The post groaned, didn't break.
