Ethan's POV: The sinister shadow had become a haunting presence in our lives, appearing without fail at the same time every day. Aline and I had spent countless nights discussing its purpose and origin, but the answers remained elusive. One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across our home, the ominous figure once again materialized in our midst. It slithered into the room, its movements sinuous and menacing. I couldn't help but feel a mixture of fear and frustration as I watched it take shape. It had become clear that this shadow wanted something from us, but its cryptic messages and eerie presence left us in the dark.

She waited in the living room while reading emails from Shadow—Sabrina's shadow although Sabrina doesn't have her memories, her plan still lives. Now she wonders, who is this shadow? I was busy looking around to see what was going on when my eyes suddenly caught a man in a black suit walking outside through the backdoor. I tried looking closely to see who it was, but it was kind of dark because he was covering half of his eyes. "Who is that?" I tried asking the young lady beside us, but the deadly stare she gave made me mind my business. A few minutes later, the young lady got called in by the spiritual woman. When I got tired of standing, I resorted to sitting on the floor while we waited for us to be attended to. A few minutes later, the young lady came out again, but this time around she was looking scarier than before.

I raised my sword. What are you? The shadow looked at me. I am what she refuses to become.

It ended up killing her after his son was born," he mumbled sourly. "Was he trying to make her nonhuman?" She asked curiously and he shrugged. "I don't believe so as it happened before they both met," he stated reluctantly. Sophia understood that he didn't wish to speak about it so backed off. Something was bugging her so she asked, "What is your real name?" Shadow grunted and side-eyed her.
