A man stepped out of the darkness with unnerving calmness, as if he had been waiting for her there all along. Claire stopped so suddenly she nearly stumbled. Her eyes went wide as she recognized the figure standing before her. "Arthur?" Her voice came out hoarse, barely audible.

Hunters. “Shadowthorn sends a message!” one roared. “The Alpha wants his heirs!” Aria shoved the twins behind her, blades already drawn. “Over my dead body.” Luka’s shadows flared. Lila growled, tiny body vibrating with power. The lead hunter lunged. Aria met him mid air, driving both blades into his chest. Hot blood sprayed across her face. She twisted, using his momentum to slam him into the second attacker. Luka’s shadows wrapped the third wolf’s legs, yanking him down. Lila pounced, ripping out his throat with a snarl that was far too mature for her age.

With a fierce determination, he fought through the visions of lost opportunities and missed chances, emerging with a resolve that burned brighter than ever. The shadows let off a screeching sound as they moved, trying to rip apart the knights they could get their hands on, the battle stretched out across the landscape. Uzziah slashes through the shadow creatures moving forward with intent in his movements, he is blindsided by a massive shadow palm and narrowly avoids being smashed into the ground as he leaped away instinctively. He turns to see a shadow monster towering above him at a whooping ten meters with holes for eyes and a shaggy appearance UZZIAH : By God, what sort of a dastardly creature are you?? ( He remarks in disgust as the creature reaches out for him)

Uncle Hector's strikes were evaded by the shadow monster, and Uncle Hector was also lightning quick, striking the remaining bits of the shadow, causing it to scream in pain. "Damned goblin, what have I done to make you obstruct my path?God's servant, who can only worship at the feet of the gods, come here to intervene in my business," the shadow hissed fiercely, slowly speaking harsh words. "Perhaps if we bargain together, things would be better, right?"

When the man began talking, it felt like he was covering her body in warm honey. "I must apologize to you. I'm Alpha Gunnar of The Shadow Howlers. My head warrior showed me evidence that you had been kidnapping humans. When I looked closer at the evidence, I couldn't determine if what he said was true, so I wanted to do more investigating. Omar?" Alpha Gunnar looked at the warriors, and the large one in front stepped forward, his neck bare in submission. "Yes, alpha." He answered in more of a growl. "Why have you set out to destroy this pack?" Gunnar asked. However, it wasn't Omar who answered.

“They are not our teachers anymore. Your Holiness. They're traitors.” Shadow scoffed as she walked up to the knee-length sleeveless hoodie that hung like a towel on her arm. “They can’t be traitors if they don’t support you from the beginning, Your Grace.” Idham looked away shamefully. They were greeted by two wolves that guarded Shadow’s office. “Ambush, Fast? What are you doing here? Your brother lions are having a meal with one of the guards.” Ambush snuggled her snoot against Shadow’s warm palm and whined under her throat.

But I never realized that the journey was just about getting started. Suddenly the palace door broke down revealing a huge and hefty creature called the shadows.
