Luca reclined on the couch in the Falcone’s residence, one leg propped up on a cushioned stool. I snatched a doily off of the side table and tried to wrap my arm but it soaked with blood instantly. I reached for my shard as he lunged toward me with a piece of glass. I was just barely able to move and he tried again to swipe at me, this time he connected and got my side. FUCK! I was going to pass out soon, it was too much. Blood, there was blood everywhere. The yelling, the voices and the footsteps were everywhere now, close and I heard the voices yelling in English.
