“Why not? Out of all these people, there’s not one you’re interested in?” In fact, Amy had not found anyone she was interested in. “Wendy, don’t worry about me. I’m not interested,” Amy explained once again. Wendy pouted and glanced around. “Just because you’re not, doesn’t mean others aren’t. I’ve seen several guys eyeing you.” This was true. A blade of solidified light formed in her grip, humming with energy. In her other hand, shadows coalesced into a dark, serrated edge. She looked at the dual weapons, then at her reflection in a polished shield.

The hitman’s question hung in the air, unanswered. Amy remained silent, and she gave Paul a blank stare. She tried not to show any emotion. Because she knew Paul wanted to see tears. Paul’s eyes were fixed on Amy’s face as he continued to chatter and ramble like a drunken cowboy. The hitman studied Amy’s face, scanning for any signs of weakness. Paul enjoyed speaking harshly to Amy, but Christina, his female alter ego, wanted to say something comforting to Amy. Christina felt bad and she had to come forth. The hitman tried to stop Christina from taking over, but she overpowered his consciousness.

A crowd of people… No, witches, surrounding her. This is current Amy. I grab her hand and tighten my grasp, as we watch the other Amy walk closer to the moon, then turn back towards us. Her body is splashed with blood and a creepy smile gracing her face as she looks back at the carnage she’s caused, then to her followers. A sob leaves Amy when we see Liam walking closer to her, and she falls to her knees, and I follow her, staying by her side. The creepy smile on vision Amy only widens at the sound of Liam’s voice. “Amy. Please. Amy. I know you’re in there.” He rasps, clearly tired from the battle he’s fought.
