~Hunter’s Point of View~ I was enjoying my nice, quiet day off soaking in my huge tub. It had been a long week and my brothers and I rotated being on active duty and on call. I was aching for my week off. They were few and far between anymore since it seemed like everyday someone else was being a menace, being difficult. My brothers and I were Shadow Warriors, a coalition of various supernatural beings that keep the peace between each other and between our own kind. It’s a damn hard job, but someone has to do it.

Damon was almost throwing up, but he did nothing as he swallowed the blood. Cael pulled her wrist out of Damon's mouth, and the cut gradually disappeared. "Your wounds will heal. Just wait," said Cael. Cael's wound healed quickly, along with his. Damon couldn't believe it and promptly got up and touched his entire body. Damon wasn't weak anymore, as if nothing had ever happened. "Who are you? And what sort of people are you?" Damon asked, confused. "We are the hunters," says Kyra. Damon looked at them, who were almost the same age as him. "How did you see that supernatural being?" Cael asked.

Shadowed figures watching from behind trees. And eyes— red, empty, ravenous. Raine jolted back, gasping. Damon was at her side instantly. “What did you see?” She swallowed hard. “Hunters. Not human ones.” Lucian swore softly. “Shadow Hunters.” Kael’s expression turned lethal. “No. Those creatures haven’t been seen in decades.” “Because the Council controlled them,” Damon said darkly. “If they’ve escaped—or been released—” Raine pressed a hand to her forehead, shaking.

he doesn't even know how to lift a stone with his so called magical gift, he was beginning to doubt if he had any powers at all. "Please, save them this one time Mother Moon, make them wake up immediately," Hunter pleaded with every fibre of his being and they all began to stir awake immediately the door jolted open. "Aah! I see that you guys are awake, it's about time," Darren said. They all stayed silent, their head bowed as they tried to make sense of their surrounding. Confused and scared, Shirley looked to her side, then she sighed in relief when she saw that Hunter was awake and in good shape. She peaked her head a little, looking through the window to that she can guess what the time

"We must proceed with caution. Sharon is dangerous, and she won't go down without a fight." The team advanced silently, their steps careful and deliberate. They moved through the dense foliage, their senses heightened, ready to face whatever awaited them in the shadows. As they approached the hideout, tension gripped their hearts, each breath filled with anticipation. Suddenly, Sharon emerged from the shadows, her eyes wide with alarm as she spotted the hunters. Without hesitation, she broke into a sprint, her feet carrying her swiftly through the tangled forest. The hunters gave chase, their determination fueling their pursuit.

I nodded to Xavier, he had every right to hate me, and if that made him feel better, then I would take it. I closed my eyes as he raised the knife and waited for him to plunge it deep into my chest. Why would The Shadow Howlers come to their pack? They were the pack that basically policed other packs, but The Last Moon Pack hadn't done anything wrong. In fact, they were so vanilla that Bianca hoped her mate would take her away. She picked Trisha up and ran toward the pack house. They got to the front porch just as the warriors arrived.

"And here I thought the Shadow Syndicate had some pride left." The shadows exploded. Ten figures materialized from the training shed. Seasoned A-class bounty hunters, clad in dull leather and tactical mana-armor. Synchronized lethality of a wolf pack. I didn't wait. I dropped my center, crimson silk tearing at the hem as I lunged. The first hunter - brute with a serrated shortsword - swung horizontally. I leaned back, spine bending into a bridge, blade hissing an inch above my nose. Planted palms on dirt. Executed a violent headstand-kick. Boots connected with his jaw.

Still confused about what he is saying because my dad has never discussed this with me before he died. “ I told your dad to discuss it with you but he always tells me it isn't time for you to know. Now he is gone you have to know your lineage. Like I said you are from the generation of hunters. Your lineage has always been the leaders of the Hunter's. Now your dad is dead, you are to take over from him. The mantle has been passed to you. Hunters are the ones who hunt werewolves.” I sobbed as tears trickled down my eyes. I couldn't hold it
