THE SHADOW WITHIN HER (The shadow Queen Of Aetheria)

THE SHADOW WITHIN HER (The shadow Queen Of Aetheria)

Restricted Archives. The sign should have been enough to stop me.It wasn’t.I descended. The temperature dropped with every step, until the air itself felt sealed away from the rest of the world. At the bottom, a single table sat beneath a flickering torch, covered in books that looked older than anything I had ever seen. One title stood out. The Fall of the Shadow Queens. My breath slowed as I opened it.The pages were fragile, the ink faded but still legible.Illustrations showed figures surrounded by living darkness, not casting shadows but commanding them as extensions of themselves.

Shadows of the night

Shadows of the night

I was pinned down but, I would fight with everything in me. I reached out to Rudolph through my mind and gave a mental image of everything. I knew now why I felt so connected to him. It had nothing to do with me, yet it felt like it had everything to do with me. I was his eternal soulmate. We were Shadows of the night passing each other, torn apart by death but, meant for each other by fate. Eternal soulmates, yet shadows in the dark. I reached for Rudolph with everything in me. I could almost see him in the field of flowers. He reached for me. I felt myself fading. Edgar must have figured out our connection in my mind cause he screamed.

Once Upon An Alpha

Once Upon An Alpha

“Uh, I don’t think you really want me to answer that.” “It was because of me, wasn’t it?” “Well, you could say it was both of us.” Pru solemnly mumbled. “Wait, what do you mean?” I looked at Pru, flummoxed. “The Fallen Moon rouges captured me in the Spring. After about a month of being with them, the shadows were abuzz, whispering that a blessed wolf would unlock her gift soon. The shadows aren’t as cooperative with me when it comes to words. My mom was able to charm them, and they would tell her anything. The shadows even sent her words to other people for her. For me, they will sometimes talk to me, but instead of words, they let me see things. I can even track someone through their shadow

This story is so good!! The author seems to put time and effort behind their characters!! And while peoples choices can be frustrating, baby beta looking at you, they all make sense with how the story is progressing and what’s happened! Couldn’t recommend this book enough!

I love this book. The author has created a wonderful world with well thought characters that I actually care about. The characters aren't perfect, they each have their own flaws and personalities. Each of them have grown in their own ways.

Mated to the Night Wolf

Mated to the Night Wolf

•|•|• In the Black Years, they came. When we were lost, and the Shadows mocked us. With them came light and hope. Tell me, how do we repay the heavens for sending their angels? •|•|• [SHADE SHADOWS] A strangled gasp tears from my throat as I fight for air, the feel of the cold hard ground beneath me as I stare up at the ceiling. Blurry faces peer down at me, paired by distant sounds speaking inaudibly above me. Hands immediately come to my aid as my vision slowly clears, and with it, the desperate voices of the company around me.

Well worth the wait! Your 55 chapters are more like 250 chapters of other authors. Your chapters are long, detailed and fully packed with more intrigue. The guard? I’m team Kayos, but it’s so beautiful how tender the guard was with her to let her know he will honor her…but I think there’s more.

This book is so good. I love the writing, the characters, the story and the execution. Perfection at its core but I have a problem, please could you release a chapter at least once a week. It’s not fair because I’m basically hooked on this book and I don’t get regular updates.

Shadows In Blue

Shadows In Blue

"I'm afraid it's true, sir," He starts shaking his head. He takes a deep breath before his eyes start to get glassy. I stay rooted in place as he tries to breathe, placing his hand over his chest. His attempt is in vein; he starts hyperventilating. Before I can move to assist, Sanchez breezes past me and steps into the house.

Enter the Shadows

Enter the Shadows

Ava placed the reason too late. “Penny, no!” It’s too late now; she heard Passerini’s voice in her head. She couldn’t stop Penny as she charged towards the source of the cold spot. A shadow golem. The worst of the worst. At the same time, another horde of shadows came at Ava, cutting her off from Penny, both locked in a fight for their lives. These shadows were stronger. They were not fragments like the ones Sven could create. These were originals. They could have only come from one place.

Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

It was quiet for a few minutes and he finally said, “Tilly and I have absolutely no secrets. People like you and me … we can’t be with just anyone. It’s either one night stands, fake short term relationships or nothing. You don’t just find a Tilly on every corner. A woman that will accept you, that if you are totally honest with her … won’t be afraid of you. I never had someone to … to help me. To direct me, and it damn near killed me. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I call it my dark shadow … it’s a part of me, but it’s a part of me I can mostly keep hidden, that I can control.

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

DEPTHS OF SHADOWS

DEPTHS OF SHADOWS

Its eyes were as red as blood and its presence gives a chilling and horrifying feel. “The two witch kids...have you heard about the prophecy?” The twins looked at each other being puzzled. “Oh, I see, I would be glad that I will be the one to tell your fate...” The evil of shadows made them confused. “...if one of you succeeds to become the ruler of the separate worlds, it will be the end of everything.” As Falla moved her pace to her brother trying to hide at her twin's back, Talon eventually vanished and was nowhere to be found. The evil of shadows moved closer in her direction. She feels heaviness and high tension as the evil comes closer and closer to her.

Shadows of Solitude

Shadows of Solitude

The morning light filtered weakly through the curtains, casting fractured patterns on the floor — much like my thoughts, splintered and jagged. I sat at the small kitchen table, clutching my cup of cold coffee, staring at the leather-bound book *Reflections of the Forgotten* open before me. The stories inside weren’t just tales — they were warnings, lessons written in sorrow and hope. Women who had lived as shadows, trapped in lives borrowed from others, fighting to reclaim their own reflections.

Never Alone

Never Alone

“Then let’s see if the Alpha King’s unity can withstand an army that predates kings, gods, and humans.” --- The Shadows Descend The first wave arrived as darkness rippling across the mountains. From beyond the horizon, black tendrils of energy spread, snaking over the land like living storm clouds. The Shadow’s master had arrived—not alone, but with an army of creatures formed from pure darkness, moving with terrifying intelligence and precision. Kael pointed toward the horizon. “They’re testing us. The Shadow’s master is analyzing our defenses, learning our formations. Every second we hesitate, they adapt.”
