The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

Divine retribution was part of him anyway—it understood this better than anyone. Landon didn't say anything else. He walked out of the bedroom, black mist churning in the clouds above, while countless clans gathered below his throne to congratulate him. He stood at the very top, looking down at all the beings below. Endless beneficence swirled around Ghost City. Every soul knelt down, staring at the Shadowlord, who was surrounded by black mist and Ethereal Echoes. He didn't give a damn about any of it. If anything, his energy got even stronger. Sharp suit and all, he looked both like a demon and an ascendant.

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

“I thought they were extinct. As far as I know, most demon species are extinct. The last Great War drove the rest back to the Underworld. No one has seen a demon in millennia. Records and information are sparse on the shadow demons. That’s no surprise, given their powers include the ability to influence others’ minds. That is how they can make you forget you ever saw them. It’s automatic, a side effect of being in their presence. You were lucky the mind link gave you an advantage. You were clever to instruct your people to record their experience as it happened. You know that’s never been an option before this age.” “We’re motivated to learn how to fight them,” Alaric said. “Fighting shadows

Sam Rivers
I absolutely love this book. It's the only reason I have this app. Great story and the spicy bits are so good. The way she writes the characters really makes you care about them, understand them and want to read more. Can't wait for the story to continue. I look forward to the almost daily updates...️

This was absolutely the best book I’ve read in a while. I got to the middle and started over just to read it again. Got to the end and went back to the middle and read again. Now I’m going to start reading the entire book again ,she captured the essence of each character perfectly. Next book please!

Beneath the Shadows

Beneath the Shadows

The room was dimly lit, the heavy scent of cigar smoke curling through the air. Alessandro De Luca leaned back in his leather chair, swirling a glass of red wine. Across from him, Mateo Salazar stood with calculated ease, his sharp eyes betraying no emotion. The silence between them was razor-thin, each man waiting for the other to speak first. “A man of your reputation shouldn’t be wasting his time in the shadows, Alessandro.” Mateo spoke, breaking the silence. “Especially not when there’s an opportunity to reclaim what’s rightfully yours.”

Shadows Of Deception

Shadows Of Deception

It creaked as it opened the sound echoing through the initial silence. Once in, the stench of decay and stale smoke hit us like a physical force, but I didn’t flinch. It was a labyrinth of half-light and clutter, the space filled with the low murmur of voices and the occasional clink of metal. The men inside hanged around on tattered furniture or clustered around makeshift tables, their eyes immediately shifting towards us with a mix of curiosity and respect. Levi, the boss of this dark haven, stood apart from the rest. His bearded face was a canvas of scars and shadows, his eyes gleaming with a cold, calculating intelligence that had earned him his place at the top.

Shadows of the past

Shadows of the past

, she embarked on a drive, venturing several miles away from home. As she ventured into unfamiliar territory, she came across a bar she had never visited before. Disguised in her attire, she entered the establishment, hoping to find solace and clarity amidst the chaos of her thoughts. Taking a seat at the bar counter, she began consuming shots of alcohol, one after another. The bartender, observing her excessive intake, grew concerned, yet he continued to fulfill her orders. Meanwhile, a tall, fair, and handsome man with an impressive physique, one of the bartender's colleagues, found himself captivated by Natasha's beauty as she consumed more and more alcohol. He marveled at her apparent co

Shadows of the night

Shadows of the night

I heard the roar of pain, rage and my eternal salvation. I felt the ground quake. I had left the mental door open for Rudolph to hear everything. With eyes slipping closed, I saw the castle walls being ripped open like the wrath of the earth and powerful force was being slammed into the room. The walls ripped open. Broken, and bleeding I saw Rudolph in all his eternal glory. His eyes were the color of fire, ablaze with revenge with the need for revenge his been seeking for the last thousand years. The constant betrayal of his family cut deep. I saw Victor Hofer and several others storming into the room. I saw an invisible power pick up Edgar and rip him away from me. He flew several yards an

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

“The shadows are bound. The ley lines are locked. There is no passage through, no shadow to walk, no darkness that leads outside. We are contained.” The first demon appeared at the courtyard’s edge, emerging from the space between buildings where no space had existed before. It wore the shape of a student, a familiar face that I recognized from the dining hall, from corridors, from the anonymous crowd that filled the Academy’s spaces. But the eyes were wrong, the pupils slitted, the reflection absent, the presence carrying a frequency that made the contract scar scream. Then another. And another. They emerged from shadows, from reflections, from the spaces between heartbeats, rogues that had

The Shadow Pact: Bound to the Demon

The Shadow Pact: Bound to the Demon

The hooded figures began to chant, their voices rising in a dissonant, haunting harmony: “Born of the shadow, the flowers shall rise. Through the vessel’s pain, the old world dies.” The Vhalir watched the carnage with a look of serene boredom. He watched as the blood reached the center of the sigil, where a single, black flower made of obsidian and shadow began to sprout from the stone. He stood up, his golden hair catching the dim light of the torches. He looked toward the ceiling, as if his gaze could pierce through the miles of earth and stone to find a small apartment where a boy was waking up from a nightmare.

Shadows of the Omega

Shadows of the Omega

The crowd growled their approval, a guttural sound of acknowledgment, of acceptance, of witnessing two wolves proving that leadership was not given—it was forged. Leadership required more than blood. It required survival. And so, the Trial of Shadows commenced. Darius and Selene were blindfolded, taken to the outskirts of the Ashen lands, left with nothing but their instincts and the silent presence of hidden warriors prepared to test them. They had until dawn to find their way back, but the path was riddled with traps— Wolves waiting in silence, ready to challenge them, forcing them into combat to prove dominance. Tests of endurance, requiring them to move without sight, relying only on sen
