THE APPLE'S OF HIS EYE

THE APPLE'S OF HIS EYE

{Abebi} The night sky stretched out above us, its vast expanse adorned with a tapestry of twinkling stars. The moon, a radiant crescent, cast a soft glow upon the world below. Shadows danced playfully across the landscape as we navigated the winding road, our headlights piercing through the darkness. The air was crisp and filled with a sense of anticipation, blending with the scent of pine trees that lined the roadside. The occasional rustle of leaves and the distant hoot of an owl created an eerie symphony, heightening our senses and reminding us of the clandestine nature of our journey.

Chloe's Werewolf Journey

Chloe's Werewolf Journey

"We can't let the shadows define our story. We'll face whatever comes together, with courage and love." In the aftermath of the confrontation, Chloe and Jonas stood united in the moonlit clearing, the threads of romance and suspense weaving together in a tale that defied the ordinary. The challenges ahead remained uncertain, but in the embrace of the night, they found solace in each other—a beacon of light in the shadows that lingered on the edges of their extraordinary journey.

Shadows Of Pleasure

Shadows Of Pleasure

I couldn't even smell her scent so I couldn't follow her. That night I couldn't get her off my mind, sleep was not an option. I need to find out who she is and why I am having a hard time detecting what she is. My wolf said she is a werewolf but I can't smell her wolf on her at all. Shadow thinks that she has no clue what she is. He also thinks that she was never part of a pack as we can't detect any pack scent on her either. Witch I guess would have made scents on why she has no wolf yet if she has never been around our kind she would develop at a much slower pace than the rest of us.

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

**Shadows in the Light** The night in the village felt unusually heavy, the stars dimmed by a haze that wasn’t there before. Clara stood by the window, her arms wrapped around herself as if warding off a chill. Ethan slept soundly, but Clara couldn’t shake the unease that had gripped her since Malcom’s arrival. She watched the forest edge, the trees swaying gently under the moonlight. For a brief moment, the shadows seemed to move on their own, almost alive. Clara blinked, unsure if her eyes were playing tricks on her.

Matched (Mortal, Book Three)

Matched (Mortal, Book Three)

"It's moving!" Except ... nothing is happening. Why is nothing happening? "Winter," Alec sounds amazed, "Look down." I do. Damon, Hank, and Elena look like toy figurines on the ground, gazing up at us, barely visible in the starlight. "What?" I gasp, out of breath, not from climbing but from frustration. "The shadow," Alec explains. "The tower's shadow moved when you turned the star." "Huh?" I turn the star again. Sure enough, the building's shadow moves. It's like a sundial.

The Reaver Chronicles: Raphael (Book 2)

The Reaver Chronicles: Raphael (Book 2)

Layna shifted uncomfortably, her unease palpable, as The Shadows closed in, their icy, unforgiving energy enveloping us like a shroud. The Shadows' presence was a balm to my fractured soul, a beacon of hope in the darkness. I knew they possessed the power to revive Roxy, to defy even death itself. The only unknown was the terrible price they would exact in return. I held out my sliced palm, offering them the payment they demanded.

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

Z smiled at her, waving her hand a little enthusiastically than she intended. Once alone, both of them gave each other an encouraging smile. “You sure this is the core of this school?” Kleint had his right on his brows, squinting at the horizon, which was now heavily tinted with indigo, some of the stars making their appearance, along with waxing crescent moon, casting a long shadow in the field, broken only by the flattering fireflies, though their lights weren’t that bright. It was enough for Z to glimpse the pity state of the Shadowests.

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

THE VEIL OF TWENTY MOON

THE VEIL OF TWENTY MOON

Light and shadow collided with a deafening crack that rippled across the marsh. The ground trembled beneath Lyra’s feet. Fog split apart like torn fabric as Astraen launched himself at the Shadehunter, his body erupting in starlit brilliance. The Shadehunter shrieked—an awful, scraping sound that made Lyra’s bones vibrate. Its cloak of shadows whipped outward, twisting into tendrils that lashed at Astraen with blinding speed. Every strike that landed dimmed Astraen’s glow slightly.

Chasing my Luna

Chasing my Luna

Chapter 99 – The Shattered Constellation The field of stars stretched endlessly around them, shimmering faintly like a sea of fireflies frozen in time. Each star pulsed rhythmically, casting soft light across the group as they struggled to regain their footing after the fall. The air was thick with an otherworldly energy, making it hard to breathe—not from lack of oxygen, but from the sheer weight of what surrounded them. Jessica stared at the constellations above: one shaped like a wolf, the other like a witch. Between them burned the words **"Unity Is Strength,"** glowing brighter with each passing second. Her hybrid nature surged within her, responding instinctively to the celestial displ

Shadows of the Vow

Shadows of the Vow

Nobody's POV In the basement, the Shadows loaded their guns, put on some gloves, and protected their heads, bodies, and legs. And they were very much ready for movement. The time was 4:32pm. They headed out, driving speedily on the highways like they owned the town. Of course they did. The two huge lorries followed the SUVs. When they got to Dock Twelve, the yard appeared deadened with silence. They say silence is the calm before the storm. But in the world of Shadows, silence usually means someone’s already dead, or about to be.
