Carrying The Alpha's Heir

Carrying The Alpha's Heir

The dashboard's soft glow revealed the car's interior, casting eerie shadows on Kevin's face as he remained focused on the road. Delilah couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss, her eyes darting anxiously from the dimly lit dashboard to the menacing darkness outside. The car's tires hummed on the pavement, the only sound in the otherwise silent night, making each passing mile feel like a journey into the unknown. "Kevin... I think we are on the wrong route," Delilah said, her voice quivering in the unsettling darkness. "You think so?" He replied, his tone devoid of empathy, and a malicious smirk played on his lips as he glanced briefly at her. The night had grown even darker, the

The Alpha's Return

The Alpha's Return

Once again, I was pushed to the back of my mind and forced to watch as an unwilling participant as Shadow took control of the truck, spinning it around in the middle of the road and causing a smash-up. The noise of honking horns and screeching tires grew louder, making me feel more and more powerless. I had no choice but to watch, as Shadow got out of the truck in the middle of traffic, and violently attacked anyone in his path. By the time he was done, not a single person was left standing. Let alone in one piece.

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

And Sirens, who can sing with the power that Zoe wields, are unique. I look at Zoe’s slight form with concern. Her chest rises and falls slowly. Her skin is pale, and there are shadows beneath her eyes. She looks fragile, and it angers me that she had to go through this. I turn on my floodlights to get a better look at the wet, darkened road. It had rained earlier in the day. The road is quiet and empty, giving out an ominous feel. I maneuver the Road Runner swiftly down the darkened road as I make my way home. Unfortunately, I’m so caught up on what to do about Zoe that I don’t see the dark figure standing in the middle of the road until it’s too late. Without a thought, I turn the wheel to

Slowly reading through the series and this has to be one of my favourites so far! Such a great book, the story is engaging and well written, I love that it introduces less written about supernatural species, it just adds to the story. Thoroughly enjoyed it and totally recommend this book!

The Alpha And The Lost Celtic Princess

The Alpha And The Lost Celtic Princess

Whats happening? A dark shape separated from the darkness of the trees and its red eyes now became visible. "Shadow people?" I gasped. "Shadow people?" Charlie repeated "what the hell are shadow people Sasha?" Her voice layered with nervous energy. "Ah short version angry ghosts that walk the shadows and the ghost roads." I answered. "Ok ignoring the fact of what the hell are the ghost roads. What do they want?" she asked as we backed away from the frost tree line. "I don't know?" I swallowed.

Shadows of the night

Shadows of the night

I need to drive the truck back into town where I rented it so, I can retrieve my car. I climb into the truck. I begin to drive away and nearly give myself a heart attack. As I am pulling away, I look in the review mirror and swear I just saw that same man standing near the house. His image is coming from the lawn of the haunted chateau. I grip the steering wheel tight. I have a feeling of dread that won’t escape me. I sigh with relief when I look again and see there’s no one there. It must be my mind playing tricks on me or something. I relax and continue to drive. Ten minutes into the drive, I feel like something just hit me from the side. I feel the truck shake. I do my best to keep myself

Shadows of Betrayal

Shadows of Betrayal

Elan asked. "No, I'm fine," I replied and immediately hung up the call. I was just a few minutes into the Poldark pack when a vision of a struggling wolf started appearing in my mind. At first, I thought it was something meaningless until I saw a human hand lying on the road. "Who could it be?" I asked, as I halted my car, got down, and crossed the road only to meet something unexpected.

My Dark Desirable Wolf

My Dark Desirable Wolf

The air along the road is charged, tense, as if something is about to explode. The full moon rises above us, casting silver light over the dirt path that leads back to Shadow’s cabin. The silence between us is uncomfortable, but also necessary. I know he’s wrestling with his own demons—the ones Elena seems to know all too well.

What Survived The Burn

What Survived The Burn

His eyes lingered on me for half a second—just long enough for me to see the storm still burning in them—then moved to Audrey. “We ready to go?” Audrey gave a single nod, the rattling of her bone charms echoing the motion. “I placed a Shadow bar on the car,” she said, voice low but confident. “We shouldn’t have to worry about anything getting in. But…” She glanced toward the windshield, her expression darkening. “Be careful on the route. If you feel something off—say something. Shadows aren’t the only things hunting that child. I guarantee it.” I turned my head slowly, looking down at my belly once more.

Shadows Of Deception

Shadows Of Deception

(THIRD POV) Dr. Collins leaned back against the cracked leather seat of the taxi, her fingers drumming restlessly on her lap. The sky outside had turned a heavy, ominous shade of blue, the last light of the day smothered by thick clouds, and the streetlights buzzed to life, casting long shadows across the road. It was so much darker than when she had first left Ivy’s place; the hours had slipped away faster than she realized, and the creeping night felt like a veil of anxiety settling over her shoulders.
