Shadows of the night

Shadows of the night

I was pinned down but, I would fight with everything in me. I reached out to Rudolph through my mind and gave a mental image of everything. I knew now why I felt so connected to him. It had nothing to do with me, yet it felt like it had everything to do with me. I was his eternal soulmate. We were Shadows of the night passing each other, torn apart by death but, meant for each other by fate. Eternal soulmates, yet shadows in the dark. I reached for Rudolph with everything in me. I could almost see him in the field of flowers. He reached for me. I felt myself fading. Edgar must have figured out our connection in my mind cause he screamed.

The Lycan King's Luna Healer

The Lycan King's Luna Healer

“You can question my decision after we survive this war.” Neither of them spoke again. But the fear and concern in their eyes were obvious. I understood their hesitation. The Shadow Guards were not ordinary warriors. They were the dead remnants of the ancient royal army, bound by an oath older than any living wolf. That was also why they were feared. They didn't recognize allies. They didn't recognize innocents. They only recognized Stone blood. Once awakened, they would fight until only Stone lineage remained. “Leave them to me,” I said, keeping my voice steady. “I'll hold them back before they spread beyond our enemies.”

Family's Regret After She Kneels

Family's Regret After She Kneels

Warriors shifting mid-stride, racing toward the sanctuary. The sacred grounds were on fire when we arrived. Shadow Clan members were everywhere. At least forty of them. Their red eyes glowed. Dark energy crackled around their hands. They were trying to break through the sanctuary doors. The ancient wolf inside was their target. "Protect the sanctuary!" I roared through the pack link. My warriors crashed into the Shadow Clan. Teeth and claws met dark magic. I tore through two Shadow Clan members immediately. Their dark forms dissolved into ash. But more came. They kept coming.

Fated To The Alphas Who Despise Me

Fated To The Alphas Who Despise Me

They were surrounded by the forces of Shadowfang and Bloodmoon. I quickly moved, and my warriors lit up seeing me. As soon as the warriors of the Shadowsfang and Bloodmoon pack saw me, some of the warriors started running back. Others saw me late. "RETREAT!" someone from the enemy side shouted but it was too late. I lunged forward, faster than sight. My blade cut through armor, bone, and flesh like it was air. The first ten fell before their screams could even reach the sky. Blood sprayed like rain, and my wolf reveled in it.

Marked in Shadows

Marked in Shadows

The grass by the roadside rustled, and several rogues who had been lurking for a while burst out of the bushes. "Sabrina, watch out!" The rogues lunged at us viciously, and Matteo shielded Sabrina behind him, kicking one rogue away. Another rogue immediately switched targets, thrusting a silver dagger toward me. Trapped in the circle, I could not dodge in time, and the blade plunged deep into my shoulder. The wounded area burned like flames. As blood kept pouring out, my strength gave way, and I fell to the ground. The rescue team arrived quickly, and the rogues fled in panic.

SHADOWS OF THE ALPHA

SHADOWS OF THE ALPHA

His silence said: this is inevitable. The forest swallowed me. Branches lashed. Roots caught. Shackles burned. My wolf hurled herself against the walls of me until my chest ached with the force of her fury. My mark seared under my shirt, fighting the bone cuffs, but the runes etched into them drank power like water. Every attempt to surge forward snapped back harder. The rogues said nothing. Efficient, disciplined, not Ronan’s usual chaos. This was theater too, but with tighter choreography. The shard heir walked ahead, not glancing back, not needing to. His presence pulled like a tide.

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

The news of our victory would spread quickly, and I felt a swell of gratitude for the support and love that surrounded us. When we reached the camp, I raised the Heart of Shadows high, the crystal catching the light and casting shimmering reflections around us. "Warriors of our pack, allies, and friends! We have faced the darkness and emerged victorious! The Heart of Shadows is now in our possession, and with it, we can protect our realm from any future threats!" Cheers erupted from the gathered warriors, their voices rising in celebration. Jason stepped forward, his expression proud. "Let this victory remind us of the power of our unity. Together, we have proven that light can overcome dark

Alpha Sebastian. “All of that is true but we also don't know what promises Aiden has made to them. He could have promised them land, reentry to their former packs or even war which is what will happen if his plan succeeds.” Beta Kira. “Exactly, which is why we need numbers. If each of you could spare 20 of your stealthiest warriors. We'll be able to use the element of surprise by blending in with the crowd and identifying all targets. Rogues will most likely be hiding out of sight, they will also most likely have a signal in place so we either have to stop them before they can give it or we need to be prepared to fight.” Jessica.

The Shadow Alpha

The Shadow Alpha

We needed to do something about him and fast, but first we had to prepare the attack, because the moment word got out that Austin was out of the picture, the rogues would surely attack. Back to reality then, I guess. I sighed internally. ‘Soon my dear, we will overcome this and reality will put a smile on your face.’ Shadow comforted and I smiled to myself. I excused myself and walked to my room to have a shower, still deep in thought about the inevitable war that would soon be upon us. We needed to either be prepared to attack or to be attacked and at this stage I haven’t decided which option is better.

A. Sweet
This story was extremely well written! I could barely put my phone down for even a moment. I especially appreciate that you took the time at the end to tie up all the loose ends and lets us know how things turn out for more than just the main characters. I look forward to reading more of your books!
