Shadow wiggled his fingers in a wave. “Hello,” Mirage’s eyes went to Vice and Victor, and then back to Vixen. “Won’t you sit down? Would you like to have a drink? I could do with a drink,” she said. “Champagne?” Vice stepped over to the fridge and pulled out a bottle. “Raven? Shadow?” “Beer for me,” Raven said. “Shadow will have a beer,” Vixen decided for him. “He must have been a good boy,” Raven commented under his breath, and exchanged a smirk with Shadow. He caught Vice looking at him, and hunched his shoulders, flushing. “Shadow is Vixen’s sub,” he muttered to Vice as explanation.

Shadows began appearing along the horizon, and the whispers increased. The smell of fresh flowers but none within sight, only grass. I followed the smell to an old oak tree. The bark was tough and rough as I held my hand against the trunk. It creaked and groaned as a door appeared in front of me in the trunk. Stepping through brought me home. But it didn't feel like home. It was cold, empty, with grayness overcast through it. Breath was visible in front of me as I took deep breaths. All light and love had sucked out of it. We turned to Van's Habit who was pointing at a table full of food. "Don't!" Leona yelled at Van. "Why?" Van asked. "That's a trap." She said then took out the wand. "Magento." She said then we were surrounded by a water shield. I frowned as I saw some Vampire High Students approach the dining table and eat. They soon lost consciousness. Van was devastated by the sight. "It's okay for me to be hungry." Van said. The shield disappeared and Leona started walking so we followed her. "The Map, Von." Creed said that's why Von gave him the map and looked at it.

She helped him and took her hand more closer to Shadow. Shadow saw Joaquin's hand coming towards him so he lazily lay down and then Vanessa started tickling him with the help of Joaquin and when he understood that Shadow will not do anything to him or Vanessa. He slowly unleashed him and as soon as he did Shadow jumped on him and started licking his face telling him how much he missed him.

The Void was taking its cut. The Confrontation One of the Shadow-Stalkers, an Alpha named Vane, leaped from the cliffside, his claws glowing with a sickly green poison. He aimed straight for Elias's throat. Elias didn't shift. He caught Vane by the wrist. The Shadow-Stalker’s poison hit Elias’s skin and simply... vanished. "You're fighting for a dead world, Vane," Elias said. His voice was two-toned now, half-human, half-hollow.

The air begins to spin around me, taking on a red color. The hybrids are white and the tattoo I’ve been hiding all this time is finally released. “I will not let you win Frank! After the wonderful dinner, a portal appeared before us, making Nirvana gasp. “Is that?” She pointed at the portal looked like a blue-purple black hole, without sucking us to the unknown. “A portal,” Shadow said, smiling. “Welcome to the supernatural world, Vana.” “Oh, my God. I never imagined I would see a real portal in my life.” She giggled beside me. “Stick around, and you’ll see more weirdness in your life.” Shadow kissed her on the cheek. “We have to go. Thank you for the lovely dinner.”
