I could do with a drink,” she said. “Champagne?” Vice stepped over to the fridge and pulled out a bottle. “Raven? Shadow?” “Beer for me,” Raven said. “Shadow will have a beer,” Vixen decided for him. “He must have been a good boy,” Raven commented under his breath, and exchanged a smirk with Shadow. He caught Vice looking at him, and hunched his shoulders, flushing. “Shadow is Vixen’s sub,” he muttered to Vice as explanation.

Before Vane could speak again, Julian slammed his stylus into the data pad. The blue holographic projection shattered into a thousand harmless light specks with a sharp, electric pop, leaving behind Vane’s fading, digital laugh echoing off the stone walls. “You are just a shell, boy. A shadow wearing a dead Consort’s skin.”

I bite my lips, but I can't control the biggest grin from breaking through. "Jesus, have mercy." He whispers, before placing his lips where they belong. THE END.

The shadow tries to attack Riviera again, she jumps over the black energy it let's out them returns an attack of her own. The shadow gives a roar before vanishing.
