I nodded, struggling to keep my eyes on his face. "I guess we could start by reading this, right?" "That sounds like a good idea," I answered, already reaching in my bag for my copy. "Great," he mumbled, flipping his book open. I looked away from him and opened my copy of the Shakespearean text. Ten minutes later, I realized I'd gotten virtually nowhere. My eyes kept darting to Derris numerous times, wandering over his body imagining things that were best left unsaid. I could feel my body heat up as Derris licked his lips once more, something he seemed to be quite fond of doing.

It almost felt like I was in a hospital room. "Does he have OCD or something? Why is it so clean here?" I mumbled, walking over to the bookshelf. Hmm...it looks like he likes William Shakespeare, based on the amount of books that Shakespeare wrote that was stacked in his shelf, and what caught my eye was the classic Romeo and Juliet. I hear the door open coupled with light footsteps. I turned around to see him bringing a cup of tea and a sandwich placed on a small tray. "Here, drink up," he said, setting them down on the table.

Once a certain book was picked out, it was to be taken off the list and if you were the last one to pick you would end up with whatever was left in the bowl. Of course, I had my favorites and I was praying quite hard so as not to end up with something that was difficult to read or understand. Thankfully, I got Great Expectations by Charles Dickens and was pretty excited to start working on the report. I helped myself to an apple from the bowl in the middle of the workspace and began munching on the fruit while I climbed the steps. This looked like the floor that people lived on. The first room I poked my head into was one of the servants’ rooms. It was very plain with a dresser, wardrobe and desk in addition to the bed. Whoever lived here was in the middle of reading a book. I walked over and looked at the title. Shakespeare. The next two rooms were unoccupied, but the following room drew a gasp from my lips. Location wise, this would have been the room that Cornelius had held me captive in twelve years ago. It had changed.

It's in chapter 125 of the old version of the book and chapter 258 of the new version. Anyway, I'll drop more hints here and there as the book progresses.
