Shape Shifter Books Novels & Stories

My heart pounds in my chest as I strain to listen, my eyes scanning the shadows for movement. And then, from between the trees, a figure steps out—its shape shifting and twisting as if it can’t decide what it wants to be. One moment, it’s a wolf, then a bird, then something entirely else. Its eyes, glowing with an eerie light, lock onto mine. A shapeshifter.

I could almost feel their anticipation, their readiness to pounce, and their hunger for dominance. Within this void, fear and determination waged a battle within me. The suddenness of the shapeshifter's act had shattered the fragile equilibrium, and now I grappled with the unknown consequences that lay ahead. Yet, amidst the darkness, a flicker of hope ignited—a belief that this unforeseen turn of events could potentially work in our favor.

"Is that not better than being a human and growing old? And incase you didn't know. Jet plan to stop shifting after the battle with the councils is over" He scratches the back of his head. "It is more complicated than that. The shape shifters were forced to turn, it was not something they wanted. Although when you are bitten, you do not take the shape you desire, you take the shape of something that reflects your personality, it might be a lioness, Jaguar, fox, and so on. You have met with the shape shifter right? Most of them died, if they cannot handle the pain of transforming, some also died in the process of becoming what they are. It is too much risk because it has a high chance of...."

The air smelled clean, the lights warm, the shelves tall and perfect. “Choose the book that pulls you,” the woman said. “It will tell you what you need.” She vanished into the shadows. I walked along the shelves. My hand stopped on one book, not because I liked it, but because something in me reacted. A strange pull. The title was old, written in faded ink:” The Nature of the Cursed: shifters of the Moon.” My fingers trembled as I opened it. Inside were sketches, human shadows twisted into wolves, claws emerging from the hands, glowing eyes in the darkness. I swallowed hard.

Alpha Fenrir picked the large book he was reading earlier and continued reading, using one of his long fingers to adjust the reading spectacle he wore. " No need for talking anymore, this was the exact moment he needed. He'd catch Alpha Fenrir unawares." Wymond smirked, seeing the man was already engrossed in the book he was reading, he immediately shape-shifted, lunging at Alpha Fenrir. The huge Alpha's lips curled in displeasure at what just happened, as the wolf made to hit him, he raised the large book he held and used it to shove the huge wolf off but it resisted and this time, Alpha Fenrir shape-shifted too and there were two huge wolves standing on their paws as they snarled at each o

The shifter world had been explained to me pretty well. It was unbelievable. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it. I guess that was why they had to do it. This was another realm. They couldn’t give me a very detailed explanation, but this was a realm like the human realm. There were multiple realms layered on top of each other. The shifter realm was the one directly beside the human world. A lot of the realms kept to themselves and never interacted with others. This was the wolf shifter continent. There were other shifters, but they also preferred to keep to themselves.

Lying on the floor was a woman who looked human, but she had long claws. "I hope you're not so stupid that you don't know what shape-shifters are. They suck your energy and make sure that the person they inhabit is hated by everyone, so that person can't trust anyone but them. They like attention. The only person on your side? Yes, she is there," he said before walking away, leaving me standing there in shock.

She plastered her mouth to his and took him by surprise. "You know," she panted between sucks and licks of his lower lip, "I'm beginning to think you're hiding something about your family life, the way you're distracting me. Are you aliens, and I don't mean the illegal immigrant kind, but the from-the-outer-galaxy, flying saucer kind?" "There is nothing odd about my family. And we are not aliens. We're jaguar shape-shifters."

she leaned forward, pleading at him. “Why should I believe a shifterless child? If you had a kindred animal, I would believe you.” He sighed. And stood up. “Stand up.” Kataya did as she was asked. “Come closer.” He rustled with his pants underneath his robe. “Since you want to show off your young body to other shifters, you’ll need to become familiar with the male form. A shifterless bastard child like you will never expect to see a male form any other way.”

There were many things I could achieve with it. But now, I wondered how I was going to do that after I had turned its hands to stump. The creature wasn't speaking, but had refused to switch away from Ser Lance’s face to its true self. A pile of books surrounded me, as I tried to find books that told me meaningful things about this creature. It turned out that history knew of the creatures existence, but they weren't considered harmful as long as they didn't misuse their abilities.Well, this one here was misusing his and could be termed a rogue of the shapeshifters. “I can't seem to find anything meaningful except that they're small in number, don't move as a pack, and blend well with other c
