Shape Shifter Books Novels & Stories

"Then we are going to give you some tests to take to determine which course is suitable for you." "When do we start?" I asked feigning interest but the truth was that I wanted to get out of this office. "I am busy with board meetings so tomorrow morning will be suitable," Davina said and pulled out a sheet of paper with a list of books that I was going to get. The topics were strange but I hid my surprise. There were ten books in total: Lycanthropy and Shapeshifting Studies Explore the history, biology, and psychology of shapeshifters, focusing on transformation techniques, controlling impulses, and understanding pack dynamics.

I can detect the warmness encompassing me, occupying the room with energy and light. The Shifters gaze at the shape, their red eyes drilling into the light with its dimness. Following a second, they all start to enter the shape, boarding maybe they were all in line to enter a voyage and leave on a mystical excursion. Awe overpowers me as every one of the Shifters enters the shape. I can feel it pulling at me, and I let go reluctantly. The shape cruises away, and as it does I can see that it looks like a boat, flying through the sky as though it is the sea. It requires a couple of moments after the boat vanishes for me to acknowledge what I had done.

I hadn't even finished a whole row yet. Some stuff is repeated but this book is by far my favorite. It's solely about bear shifters. Bear shifters are the most loyal type of shifter. They would lay down their lives for the ones they are to protect without a single thought. Thats terrifying. I don't want Dom to die because I might. Even though he would probably fight me on it.

Sensing the challenge, she shrugged before opening the giant book and placing it on the coffee table. Everyone’s eyes shifted onto a black and white drawing where a human was sitting grouched, knees to her chest, and a wolf was standing before her. There was a trail of smoke between the two, reminding me of the exact thing that happened in the morning! “What you are looking at, is what’s called, a Split Shifter.” Grace began, earning all of our attention. “The cases of split shifting are rare, one time in centuries kind of rare. That’s because the split shifters are believed to possess some kind of power that can enhance one of shapeshifters and supernaturals.” She placed fourth, causing my

Lina closed the door behind her, and sat down beside me, pulled a basin of water and dipped my hands in it, rubbing them while I muttered things that even I did not understand. I should be in shock. It wasn’t until Lina shook me by the shoulders that I focused on her and realized she was talking to me, and it seemed urgent. — Ma'am, how did you know he was a Changer? — What is a Lina Shifter? — I asked making a great effort to control the tremors in my own voice. — Beings who change shape, as long as their victim is the same size, Madam, how did you know he was a Changer?

His smile turned to one of concern and his face became serious. “What do you mean? You said you never got the shifting gene, so you can’t be seventeen.” My eyes widened at his words. That wasn’t what we were told in school. My voice started to come out shaky as thoughts began racing through my mind. “What are you talking about? That’s basic shifting. We learn that as children when we start school. If a Shifter has not transformed by their sixteenth birthday, then it means the shifting gene is absent, and they were cursed to live as humans.

She reads, "'This image of a wolf with the lips raised around the teeth usually means speaking up about what you dislike. This image has been associated with civil wars, rebellions, or uprisings against usurpers.'" She looks at me. "This could mean something, right? Then I looked into the moons. So," she flips a few more pages. "Shifters are decently spiritual. They worship the Moon Goddess, whose name can vary in lore, but mostly it's about a connection to nature and the phases of the moon. Placing the phases around the wolf can mean several things, but mostly, it's a 'backing by the goddess'. So, a righteous cause." Ah. Religious fanatics. My favorite.

"I don't have those cool leather straps or a bra that fits my monster's deformed chest." I like how she called it her monster. She wouldn't if she had any idea how extraordinary she was in her beast form. Her breasts are another matter. When she shifts, part of her grows, but her breasts blend more into her body than enlarge. She's a killing machine and large breasts can only get in the way. "Your beast doesn't need a bra," I say. This discussion is one I thought I would never have. "Remove your shoes first, then your shirt, then shift. Don't think too long or hard about it, just do it."

I responded, throwing the sleeves of my robe over my arm as the pain still crossed my mind. “I am glad that you are fine but I wanted to speak to you about the shapeshifter that tried to kill you” he started. “Shapeshifter? I thought those were far tales” it made no sense, those were creatures I had seen the library have information on like dragons and dwarves, they weren’t meant to be still thriving. “How was it discovered?” I inquired “I mean, how did you know that it was indeed a shapeshifter?” I asked again.

I reminded, raising an eyebrow at him. Faustus Griffith's POV Being a shapeshifter was what made me work as anything I wanted. It is both a gift and a curse, considering the dangers I end up in most of the times. None the less, I listen to my clients' strategies and go along with their task.
