The fight was on. We clashed, our claws reflecting the light from the moon. Blow after blow made our claws to ring out. The warriors watched with utter silence, their eyes never shutting. Their face was an expected mask excitement and anticipation.

The first wave of Silverclaw warriors descended upon us, their eyes gleaming with malice. It was chaos. Fists flew, claws raked through the air, and the sounds of snarls and growls filled the night. I fought with everything I had, my wolf pushing forward with rage, but there were too many of them. Too many Silverclaws, too many merciless eyes.

The pack house doors stood wide open, and warriors were streaming in and out like angry birds disturbed from their nest. Their faces were twisted with rage and something else I could not name. Without hesitating, I slipped between their legs, following the terrible sounds deeper into the building where I was not supposed to go without permission. The marble floors that usually shone like perfect mirrors were muddy now, covered with dirt and something darker that made my stomach turn.

The air crackled with anticipation as the battlefield became our shared hunting ground. Without warning, Zack lunged at me with a lightning-fast speed, his claws extended to rend and tear. Instinctively, I dodged his attack, my agility matching his own. We moved in a deadly dance, our bodies twisting and turning, each strike and parry filled with lethal intent.
