I whispered, as I tried to reassure her. She looked over at me for the briefest of moments with tears in her eyes and shook her head. I don’t know if she was telling me that she didn’t believe me or if she was trying to tell me I didn’t understand the consequences of my actions in bringing her here. Maybe it was a bit of both. She stood there beside me in silence as I gripped her arm to stop her from doing a runner while I waited for my father to come outside and greet us. Storm

“We both wish we could lock you away, keep you untouched. But I don’t care about who was first—only that I’m your last.” I seized her nape, kissing her fiercely, tongues colliding until we were gasping for breath. Our foreheads pressed together, heat pulsing between us. “Come, Sweet Thing,” I growled. “Storm wants blood, and only you can soothe him. Will you let him take over?” Her tongue flicked across her lips, and Storm surged forward. My eyes glowed gold. “Hello, mate.” Her breath hitched. ‘Storm—be gentle.’

The others noticed me and were already started to me towards me. ‘Where are you so I can find you?’ I asked again. ‘...storm.’ It whispered. And as it did, my vision was suddenly turning dark. ‘Storm? What do you mean?’ ‘Go through the storm. Find me…’ There was a sort of sinister feeling settling inside of me as it spoke. And right now, my vision was completely black. It was like my consciousness is being pulled to another place.

He snarled, "Where's Yvonne? When did she leave? Why didn't anyone tell me?" William's stormy look was enough to scare anyone, much less poor Wendy. She covered her eyes to try to block out the shooting stars coming at her like missiles, but closing her eyes worsened the effect. "I am Storm," She murmured aloud, trying to force her brain to work... to remember... pushing the words through teeth clenched tightly together in a grimace. "I have a friend, Kaden, and he would not leave me if he knew I had a need for him." She pushed past the pain to try to uncover the truth. Why was she in the rain forest when she should have been in the apartment? Why had she been abandoned by Kaden? She shook her head in denial, although it cost her dearly, as the pain increased, spikes seeming to stab through her skull.
