She felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized that this was no ordinary artwork. Sophia's eyes remained fixed on the painting. She marveled at the delicate brushstrokes, the way the colors seemed to dance across the canvas. Sophia felt an inexplicable pull towards the artwork, as if it was beckoning her closer. She purchased this piece because it held great sentimental value," Watson explained. Ariel studied the painting, trying to understand why Madam Wilder would be so drawn to it. The more she looked, the more familiar it seemed. "Watson, I'm sure I've seen this painting before," Ariel said,her brow furrowed. Watson’s expression turned thoughtful. "Probably in the other rooms. The only ones that exist were purchased by Madam Wilder from the artist."

Its door was on the floor under the opening. Ben looked back towards the detective and was startled to see one painting had been left behind. It remained hanging on the bedroom wall opposite the bed. It was a small portrait of a clown's face, in full makeup. It stared back at them with a sad expression. "Rainor dealt with stolen art? Could that be a Red Skelton original?" Ben asked the detective. The man turned to look back at the painting with a thoughtful expression. "Why the fuck would anyone want a clown staring at you while you sleep... or while you had sex! That's fucking creepy!" Trish said with a shudder.

I didn’t know how long we stayed like that—me sitting, him painting, the only sound in the room was the soft swish of his brush and the occasional clink of glass. Every so often, he’d glance up and study my face. Not in a creepy way. Not in a lustful way either. More like… Dissection. He was trying to see past my skin. I didn’t like it. I shifted in the seat. “You’re uncomfortable,” he noted, not looking up. “No shit, Sherlock.” He smirked. Just barely. Then returned to the canvas. “Why?” “Because you’re staring at me like I’m some haunted relic you dug up from a battlefield.”

He understood the situation and kindly said, "There's no rush. I can wait. After all, I'll be worried if someone else restores it." "Thank you for trusting me, Mr. Gabelman Senior." Holly looked up and saw the two paintings she had given Abelin previously. They were framed properly and displayed on the wall. There were Dorian Hodge's "Shadow Scape" and the "Deadwood Jackdaw". They looked lonely on the wall. They were also marked with Zorro's stamp of collection. Seeing how Holly was looking at the paintings, Zorro followed her gaze with his hands behind his back.
