Not just broken, but unfinished. A story still being told. “This isn’t closure,” she said. “It’s bait.” Adrian nodded once. “Then let’s see who bites.” She didn’t thank him. Didn’t say goodbye. Just turned, photo in hand, and walked out the way she came.
