Fall for the Mafia's Deception

Fall for the Mafia's Deception

Shit! “I’m calling a doctor,” I said, my voice softer now. I reached for my phone, dialing the number with a shaky hand. Within minutes, the doctor arrived. Mia’s condition was deteriorating quickly; she was getting hotter, her skin flushed with an alarming redness. The doctor immediately directed us to get her into an ice bath. I was too numb to protest as they moved her to the tub, the cool water enveloping her as the doctor worked quickly to counteract the drug's effects.

The Alpha King’s Hidden Mate

The Alpha King’s Hidden Mate

“You seem to have an intimate knowledge of the place.” He smiles again. “I tend to ask a lot of questions, I confess, which is how I know they are in need of something you can provide.” “You’re speaking of the illness that has struck many of them.” “You seem to have an intimate knowledge as well.” This time, I shrug. “What medicine are they seeking?” “Moonlight herb.” Before I can open my mouth, Camila has closed her phone and stepped up to my side. “We would be eager to trade that for information on the coma sickness they’re experiencing,” she says.

The Unwanted Wife and Her Secret Twins

The Unwanted Wife and Her Secret Twins

"You're going to stay here with Officer Martinez for a little while. She has some puzzles and books for you." Madison's grip on my hand tightened. "Where are you going?" "I have to talk to someone else for a few minutes. But I'll be right back, okay? I promise." "Is it... is it someone bad?" I hesitated. "It's someone who's very sick," I said finally. Madison nodded solemnly, then surprised me by standing on her tiptoes to whisper in my ear. "Be careful, Mia. Some sick people want to make other people sick too."

Appreciation to authors writing. it is easy to visualize things while reading. I love reading this book. Mia is an inspiration except for the fact that she is using Thomas. My fav characters are Mia, Kyle, Sarah(Mia's mom), Nate, Scarlett, Katherine(Kyle's mom), Alexander, Ethan and Morton.

great story. thomas lied cause he was jealous while kyle lied cause he wanted to protect her. she clearly loves kyle even though she doesn't admit it and is only with thomas since he gives a sence of security/love to her and kids. i hope kyle and mia clear their misunderstandings and end up together

Planning My Ex-Husband's Wedding

Planning My Ex-Husband's Wedding

(End of flashback) As I plopped on my bed with landing on the soft and soothing mattress on my back, I dialled Anna's number. I could really use a friend in need. "Hello, Anna", I greeted, my voice sighed down with the burden of the situation. "Hello, Emily. I was just about to call you. You have to come down here. Mia's fallen terribly sick and the doctors say it is a terminal disease!"

TWO FATES, ONE THRONE.

TWO FATES, ONE THRONE.

I stayed with Vera a while before making my way to the training grounds, I spent most of my days there now—fueled my anger and hurt, bleeding it out through exhaustion. I stopped my the kitchen to greet Mima. She spotted me before I did her. “My wild one—-“ “Hi, Mima,” I said, forcing a smile. She rinsed her hands and put a stop to what she was doing. She looked worn down—feeding not just the family, but the sick children and their relatives too. Healers had been called in from everywhere. Her husband was among them. “Come here,” she said, as she grabbed my hand and dragged me out the kitchen.

(Not) My Husband: Still The Father Of Our Children

(Not) My Husband: Still The Father Of Our Children

“I won’t ask.” He swallowed hard. “Ezra doesn’t know.” “Of course he doesn’t,” Mia said, rolling her eyes. “Dad is so stupid. I bet he thinks you’re just acting out.” Sebastian let out a soft, bitter laugh. Then the laugh turned into a cough. Then a sob. And suddenly, he was clutching at Mia, gasping like the air was cutting his lungs open. She held him tight, murmuring soothing nonsense as the imprint sickness took hold—his body fighting the severed connection, the ache of absence screaming louder than words.

Blaze of Darkness!

Blaze of Darkness!

Mira sighed in relief and sat on her bed. "Your brother is sick!" She cursed while taking off her ghungroos. "Were you dancing?" She asked amused. "Yeah!" Mira smiled at her ghungroos. "You have no idea how desperately I was waiting for this moment... It was a dream come true!" Mariana chuckled. "Good to hear, no one's gonna stop you from now on... What did he do now?" Mira informed her everything and Mariana was shocked. "I am not ready to believe that Damon did this. He was never like this..."

This was such a refreshing read! Strong FL paired with a dreamy twisted ML, blending everything you'd want in a dark romance trope. I loved her unwavering dignity and Damon’s supportive role. The flow, the language, everything's so flawless. Surprised, your work is so underrated! A must-read!

Meet My Brothers

Meet My Brothers

Feeling uncomfortable, Mia turned away and responded, "It's fine. I'm just experiencing a slight stomach ache from lunch." She was reluctant to go to the hospital just because of a mere morning sickness, fearing the embarrassment it might bring. With that, Mia began to depart, yet after only a few steps, her vision blurred, and her legs faltered beneath her. Just as Mia was on the brink of falling, Timothy caught her with his broad arms. Straining to open her eyes, Mia glimpsed Timothy's handsome profile, his features distinguished and appealing. Mia found herself incapable of speaking, overwhelmed by a pervasive weakness that eventually caused her to lose consciousness.

I like the story. It desperately needed to be proofread before being published though. The mistakes when speaking about the different characters and using the wrong names is irritating. It’s also quite irritating to only be able to read a few pages at a time. It’s going to cost a fortune to finish

My half a star review was taken down. DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH! After $600~ US. The ending was bullet points. After over a thousand chapters to spend less than one chapter in all of the outcomes and brushing through them. whatever my Imagination came up with is much better than what we got.

My Cheating Mate

My Cheating Mate

"What are you talking about?" "Maryann collapsed during training today. She's in the medical center with IV because she's so dehydrated and malnourished that her body shut down. Dr. Martinez says it's bond sickness. Severe bond sickness caused by you rejecting the mate bond. Marcus, you're literally killing your second chance mate because you can't move past Amber's death." The words didn't—didn't process at first. Couldn't process. Maryann had collapsed? Was in the hospital? Because of me?

The Fated Alpha Queen

The Fated Alpha Queen

Dr Marshall says as she enters the room and rushes to the bathroom for tissue. “Please don’t leave me,” Becca clutches my hand, spreading some of her sick over my fingers. “Sorry,” she mutters, withdrawing her hand. “Please, can they stay?” Becca begs her. Only after Damian agrees does Dr Marshall allow me and Max to take a seat. “OK. So the good news is you’re not sick with anything that we can’t treat,” Dr Marshall begins with a massive grin on her face. “But she is sick? Or is the bond damaged?” Damian begins to question but stops when Dr Marshall raises her hand.
