I just finished five chapters in one sitting. I grabbed my phone, opened Telegram, and went to my chat group, Lovely Buricats 💦. It's a lively space filled with writers, and as usual, I was late to the conversation. I started back-reading their earlier messages, trying to catch up on the chatter I had missed. We meet once a month. This month we're reading your book because it's important and it's brilliant and I want to talk about it with people who will actually understand why it matters."
