"I'm losing it!" I cried, falling to my knees on the porch. "I can't... I can't remember the packhouse! I can't remember Fenris!"
"Look at me, Elara!" Silas roared. He threw himself against the invisible barrier, his violet eyes burning with a desperate, forbidden power. "Don't look at the house! Look at the **Shadows**! Remember the dark! Remember the night we survived the Architects!"
