Silent Hill Novels & Stories

No sounds. Just trees. And silence. But not the listening kind. This silence was ancient. Final. The kind that swallows names. In the Hall of Echoes, beneath the mountain’s spine, a different kind of silence held court. High Elder Calros stood before the stone table, the council scrolls unrolled before him, his fingers tracing the ancient law marks as if he could force them to yield something new. “They’re waking,” said a voice behind him. He didn’t turn. “She’s made contact,” the voice continued. “The mist confirmed it. Saelin bleeds. And the Hollow has stirred.”

KIRA The Hollow does not fight in daylight. We move in the hours when honest people sleep and the world is too dead to hear our steps. That night was no different. The air was cold, the sky dark and heavy. Our boots made no sound on the dirt. Our faces were hidden under black hoods smeared with ash. Serana said no one who survived would ever know who we were. It was meant to comfort us. It only made me feel smaller. Shame stuck to my skin like sweat.

Chapter 1: The Weight of Silence The cold wind whispered through the twisted pines of the Silken North, carrying the scent of salt and ancient secrets. Lady Seraphine D’Argent stood at the edge of the cliff, her slender frame silhouetted against the bruised sky. The blood moon was hours from rising, but already its faint red glow seemed to tint the horizon, bleeding into the clouds like a warning.

"Rhett… you're lying. Sylvia loved gowns inlaid with moonstone crystals. How could she possibly have cherished this plain, old white dress?" Caught in his lie, Rhett froze for a moment, then ran off in a flustered, furious rage. Unlike before, I didn't chase after him to comfort him. I let him vent his anger. The guests gradually left. As the wind howled along the coast, I returned to my room alone. As soon as I pushed the door open, a strong stench of blood hit me. I saw the bloodstains on the ground. The puppy was lying there, with its eyes closed and its breathing stopped.

The air over the Shadow Vale was thick with ash and despair. A gray pall clung to the jagged peaks, and the ground itself seemed to shudder under the weight of countless undead souls. Selene stood on the precipice of the valley’s entrance, her silver eyes reflecting the devastation below. Before her lay the amassed legions of the Revenant—fallen warriors, corrupted beasts, and spectral phantoms—stretching as far as the eye could see.

One of them. The shadows writhed, the silence grew taut and in that unsustainable stillness, i knew the war raging outside was nothing to the war that had just begun within this room and far away through the cracks of the windows, the faint cry of a howl developed, unprecedented, freezing and tinged with black magic. It was coming closer.

Hailey*** The silence between us was suffocating, a heavy weight pressing down on my chest as I tried to steady my breath. My fingers gripped Hollis tightly, as though by holding him in my arms, I could shield him from the pain that clung to him like a shadow. His past, the betrayal of his father, the haunting loss of his mother—each memory swirled around us, invisible but all-encompassing. I could feel the rawness of it in his every breath, and it broke my heart to know how deep the wounds ran.

Face was covered in blood from wiping away the stains of hair that fell in my face and the sweat because it felt like a damn workout. In my eyes you are a pussy when you think you only need a fucking gun to protect yourself, thinking you are the men and no person in their right man would think to challenge , would fear you just at the mere sight of a gun but not me apparently. I’m not anyone, I’m Aaliyah, assassin of the Italian mafia known as Shadow of death.

They had no idea what their First Elder was planning. The Ghost-wailing Hill was located deep within the Miasma Mountain Range. It was the most terrifying, dangerous, and peculiar place with miasma so thick that one couldn't see the sky. The miasma was of the ancient variety and had claimed the lives of countless cultivators, including some Grand Completion Realm cultivators, since.

Lightsticks beamed brightly in the darkness, flooding the space with vibrant hues. "Silence speaks for those who listen." Kyle's magnetic voice came through as he jumped down the swing. The music gradually grew louder. "This song tells the story of a boy who took forever to understand the whispers of his silence, finally losing the girl he loves," he continued. "Hope you'll enjoy it."
