I heaved a sigh of relief as I heard Leoric's calm voice. It did something to my heart, something no one else's voice could ever do. I felt calm and relaxed, now I could express my self clearly and openly without fear. I sighed again and looked into Leoric's eyes to be sure I wasn't misconstruing his emotions.

Before she could catch her breath, a hum broke the silence—low, mechanical, rumbling closer. Roman stiffened, hand snapping to his gun, and Sienna’s heart kicked up, the vial burning in her pocket. It was the only way he could rid of his raging emotions when it comes to the other boy.
