When Silence Became Goodbye

When Silence Became Goodbye

Then someone started chanting, and everyone joined in. "Say yes! Say yes! Say yes!" They knew nothing about what Shiloh and Manuel had been through. They had no idea how much she'd suffered. How hard she'd fought to get away from him. They were just enjoying the drama, pushing her to forgive him. Shiloh felt sick. She knocked the ring out of Manuel's hand. "I won't. Manuel Preston, I'd rather die than ever get back together with you."

Just Got Lucky (BOOK 1)

Just Got Lucky (BOOK 1)

I answered her with a smile, ignoring her sobbing. This song is honestly a bit catchy and it was really pretty good. As I was listening to it, these guys sounded more of rock stars and I wonder how they sing this live. I know Avery listens to this song but I never really got the chance to listen to the lyrics of the song. When the song reached the bridge part, Silas was singing first then followed by Milo. My Milo. Oh damn, that voice. Good morning babe. Heard your song over the radio on my way to school. Wake upppp! I love you sleepyhead xxx BTW, saw the I*******m photo. Loved it. Love you. ❤️ -Lindy

The Secrets of the Bad Boy

The Secrets of the Bad Boy

How awful. I have recorded the way back, we passed block after block without saying anything at all. He no longer walks behind my back, our steps are synchronized, we go side by side, walking together. I think I heard him humming a song and it reminded me of some doubt. “Do you like silence?” I ask, ready to kill that doubt. I don't give him my gaze, but I feel myself carrying the heaviness of his. “I love silence.” “How can you love silence and listen to heavy metal?”

Whisper of the Silent Death

Whisper of the Silent Death

He put it to the highest volume so that he won’t hear any noise aside from his music. Meanwhile, a loud noise can be heard in a nearby house. The breaking sound of the glass that comes off the table rang out in the whole house. There, a guy came out of the house while hanging his empty bag on his shoulder. He has this blank and emotionless face while walking out of the house. He looked at his own Harry Winston wrist watch that was a gift to him by his father.

Desires And Captivity

Desires And Captivity

We stopped on the far side of the pool, drawing breath almost in unison; the harmony was perfect, though neither of us sought it. “The song,” I said as we climbed to the next step. “That line about silence… there’s something you haven’t told me.” “The song belongs to the one who sings it,” she replied—not unkindly. Her tone was that of someone crossing a rope bridge who’d rather not discuss the strength of the knots. “And to the one who listens. You’ll know the rest when we arrive.”

Locked in Silence

Locked in Silence

If I slept, I'd see my parents again. I resisted, fighting the seductive pull of darkness with all my might. I knew it was lying to me, but I couldn't speak. It felt like I was choking. I could only run—run... Just as the suffocating sensation threatened to consume me, a beam of light tore through the darkness like a sword. I, too, overcame the heaviness in my chest. For the first time, I heard my own voice, clear and true. "Harvey... help me."

Then she lowered her voice and whispered: "Since you are on duty." “Is that the fruit spritzer again?” Janik happily held out his empty glass to her and she filled it up with a nod. "You are probably telling each other everything?" She also filled Josh's glass and then said goodbye. She put the bottle on the trolley next to them. "She's to be smooched!" Janik grinned at his friend, who just had a smile on his face, but now looked at his friend disapprovingly. The latter raised his hands disarmingly. "It's okay, it's okay, it's yours."

Silent Alpha

Silent Alpha

Possessiveness surged through my veins as he leaned forward and whispered something in her ear, making her giggle. My jaw ticked in anger as I slunk a little closer, when some idiot decided to block my vision while dry humping the girl in front of him. Growling, I forcefully shoved him out of my way, making him trip over someone's foot and face plant into the ground. He yelled at me from behind but I ignored him by continuing to walk by. The blasting music muted the sound of my footsteps against the grass. The song Victorious by Panic! At the Disco played on the speakers at high volume with the bass turned all the way up. It was so loud, that I guaranteed someone on the other side of the cou

Bound to the silent don

Bound to the silent don

The room fell into a silence so heavy it felt like it was crushing the furniture. I stood by the sofa, my heart hammering. "Dante... if they come back with an army, you can't stop them. You have to give me up." Dante turned to me. The "Silent Don" was gone. In his place was a man possessed. He walked toward me, his boots heavy on the marble. I backed away until I hit the wall. He caged me in with his arms, his chest heaving against mine. He didn't speak. He grabbed my hand and pressed it against his heart. It was beating like a war drum—fast, violent, and erratic.

Dear Stepbrother

Dear Stepbrother

That could've gone real bad real fast. Ryder tried to ease the awkward silence between us as he shuffled a random CD into his car audio. Soon enough, a familiar music began playing. I realized that it was an Ed Sheeran song, 'Thinking Out Loud'. But it wasn't Ed's voice singing it, it was a cover, and a girl was singing it. Just as my hand reached out to turn the volume up, Ryder was doing the same thing. Our fingers touched and I swore there was an electrical static just then. I pulled my hand away quickly and Ryder turned the volume up.

I just finished reading the book now and I must say I have enjoyed every bit of it. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading. I so loved Kara and Ry’s love story. Lots of laughters and tears but loved the happy ending. I hope there is a sequel.

This book has been one of my favorite books from you author. The love story of Ry and K is amazing. I would still read them from time to time and not get bored of their story. I love your writing especially on a romantic love story. So many emotions, laughter and tears.
