He sighs, “Okay, we’ll start with the least pure, which I’m sure you’ll be absolutely fine with, and work our way up to the bar of pure silver we found on some human on our lands. We have no idea what he planned to do with it; it’s literally an ingot of the stuff.” He points to a solid bar of silver with the sterling mark on it, she hums, “But it’s definitely the ‘good’ stuff.” She nods, she wanted to start at the hard end, but understands his caution.

I hissed back, watching the man’s pitch-black eyes narrow angrily at me. “Is that a threat? Michael Gotham?” Wolverine Silver whispered so quietly that I almost wasn't sure he had spoken. Icy shards of glass slithered down my back to freeze over at the base of my spine. Of all the wolves at the table, it was Wolverine Silver I was most worried about. I had to struggle to suppress a laugh. The Silver Myst was an urban legend, a pure silver wolf who showed up when things looked at their worst.
