“Don’t lie to me. I’ll verify this with Stephen.” Simon pulled out his phone. Before he could punch the numbers, his phone rang with a call from Stephen. The suspicious timing of the call made Simon’s heart sink. He dreaded the realization of his worst fear. Simon shakily took the call. “Dad, North Hill City is in trouble.” Those words hit Simon like a ton of bricks. It was true. North Hill City was done for. To make matters worse, they gave the culprits the means to commit the crime.

“Sort of.” “Oh, come on, Jess!” “Your mate can be shit scary where you are concerned,” She cried out. “My lies are no good when his eyes start glinting. I swear he is scarier than Reed.” I covered my face with my palms, a bit annoyed but unable to deny the truth in her words. they can be assholes when they want to. “When does the food arrive?” “In a bit. Why did Alpha Simon want to see you though?” “He thinks his home is haunted.”

Then, a few seconds later— Knock. Knock. Knock. The sound of someone knocking on the door. I walked over to open it, frowning in confusion. And froze instantly. Simon was standing in front of the house with two of his friends. It looked as though the driver had brought them back here. Their faces were pale. Their clothes were covered in mud. One of them was even shaking. And Simon’s eyes… Fear. For the first time since I’d known him, Simon looked genuinely terrified. It was a sight I’d actually wanted to see. He stared at me for a few seconds before finally opening his mouth.

His facial expression screamed fear. A bout of fear surfaced in Simon's heart. "What?" He whispered in return and took a step back. Prothero suddenly covered his mouth as if he wanted to barf and fearfully whispered. "There. That person putting on white has blood oozing from his mouth and his stomach. I think it's a gh…." "Ghost." Simon suddenly completed, and his eyes widened in shock. Immediately, Simon felt a bout of nausea hit him hard, and he felt sick.

The cold look on Liam's eyes was terrifying, and Simon was shivering in fear as he watched Liam walk over to him. "Please, stop it, what are you trying to do?" Simon asked in fear as he backed away, and Liam kept stepping towards him, not taking his gaze off him. "Don't come near me, I'll make you regret it." He threatened. Simon was backed to the corner with nowhere to go. "You threatened my family, how dare you!" Liam asked coldly, picking up Simon by his collar and kicking him on the stomach.

“A leopard can’t change its spots.” Simon lunged forward and clamped his hand tightly around my throat. “How did you fight back then? Tell me now, or I’ll choke you to death!” I shook my head and gestured for him to let go. “My way of resisting was not resisting at all.” Simon stared at me suspiciously. In the previous timeline, after he was cast out of the Harrison family, Simon still had somewhere he could go. Naturally, he never understood what it was like to live in constant fear the way I did.

He wasn't sure why, but he felt weak on the inside. He has a heart of stone. His wolf was a vicious one. Wicked wolves don't care about other people. Not to talk less of a human. What was wrong with him? He was clueless. As Simon drew nearer, he could see how terrified she was. His eyes were glaring at her as if they were going to keep eating her. However, the reality was different. While Simon was supposed to continue eating her, he instead began to sniff her. He could still smell fear around her, despite the fact that she had no scent other than her perfume. She caught his eyes when she opened them and when he looked into her clean, brown eyes, he was immediately absorbed.

Simon wanted to squeeze him to molecules that instant for threatening him again, so he had decided to kill his family too; time was moving slowly, he would have to finish off this mother fucker very soon before he did anything reckless. “If you want your money, then you’d have to protect me too, I don’t know who it is, but someone wants my head on a platter.” Simon spoke confidently, he’d use Freddy obsession for the money against him. At least with Freddy men looking after him and the police also, he’d be protected and would be able to plan his attack without fear of being shot dead with a sniper.

"Oh mister" Simon bumped into a waiter as she slipped a paper into his pockets but he didn't notice that. He was a bit pissed when Elais approached him, Simon wished he would just disappear. "So what do you want now Elais?" Simon had to make him understand that he made a mistake trying to strike a conversation with him.
