My mother weeps to the side while the world slows into nothing. A movement to my side catches my attention as my father's speech begins to sink in. Snapping to my side, I witness Beta Simon trying to back away slowly, as if he is trying to remove himself from this situation, sniffing the air; I smell the subtle fear rolling off of him as he tries his hardest to mask it. But it's there, clinging to him like a blanket of shame.

Instead, they got beaten up, so many of them feared Lauren. They did not expect Simon to hit Lauren as soon as he came in, which made them fear him even more. “Everyone, get out!” Simon roared. Thud! Thud! Many fell out of fear. Tables were knocked over, and wine bottles fell to the ground. Everyone was crawling out of the place in fear. Instantly, the entire place was quiet. “Simon, what are you doing? Are you here to cause trouble, or are you here to get yourself injured?” Lilian asked as she walked down the stairs.

I say excitedly as if I didn’t already plan this. He turns the corner quickly but it doesn’t bother me. Simon has hard time adjusting to new people. I have no problem forcing my friendship on him until he admits defeat. Suddenly he stops in front of the gymnasium. “Look I know you’re new but I’m a loser here. "I don't quite understand why Gladyce has such a big reaction. Is it because she wants to glide?" "You!" Gladyce frowned and continued, "If you're afraid of heights, just tell me! You're not really his follower. What, will he force you to do such a thing?" Oh... Simon suddenly understood. "Tsk, how could I forget that I'm afraid of heights? I just got this disease last night!" "What should I do?" He was delighted to see how nervous Gladyce was for him. Simon frowned and said, "I'm sorry." "Excuse me?"

After a few minutes, he looked up. “It’s from Shanivar.” Simon felt a knot in his stomach upon hearing the name of the place. He nodded and walked away, muttering a curt “thanks” before returning to his car. Back at his apartment, he tried to call Isabella, but, as he expected, he couldn’t find a number he could reach. However, he had an email address. He typed quickly: “Stop sending threats. Otherwise, I’ll call the police.” Less than five minutes had passed when his phone rang. The name “Unknown” flashed on the screen.

“That’s fine by me. Oh, I also want the deed to the Walkers' mansion.” “I’d give you everything. All the villas I own, just…” Simon let out a shaky breath, and Josh was pleased with his agitation, “Just don’t touch her.” “No problem.” Josh was even happier. “But I would be quick if I were you or I can’t say when Lana would lose her mind and kill her.” “Hold on,” Simon held the phone to his shoulder, opened the door of his room, and took a glance at the situation outside his room, just as he guessed the corridor was filled with detectives. He closed the door again and strode into the room.

Simon sighed and took his phone back from his pocket, unlocked it, and gave it to her. The hallways fell into silence. “They know we are digging, they are watching us” Gabriela whispered. Simon took the phone and with a fierce look, stared at Gabriela. “Let them watch, I'm not scared of them” Gabriela looked at Simon once again worried, things were getting dangerous, and though she wanted to act fierce and unshaken, deep down she was scared.

“Trust me.” *** *** *** It was a week's time. I held Jeremy's hand as we walked into the fair at Blood Moon Pack. The moment I stepped my feet on the soil, chills ran down my spine. The closer I got towards the pack house, the harder it got to walk. “I'm here with you. Besides, he wouldn't recognize you behind the mask. Your scent too is different now.” Simeon encouraged me. Simeon was right, but could I help the fear in my heart?

Jax looked at me with a serious expression. “Of course I do! I wasn’t born yesterday! It means when you’re scared of something, like I fear my father for example.” I through my hands up in the air. Jax chuckled and took my face in his hands softly making me look directly at him. “No honey. The word fear is more of an acronym.” I scrunched my face up in confusion. “Ok now you got me 38 shades of confuzzled fucked.
