He smirked. His mouth moved silently, his smirk darkening with the devilish glint in his eyes before it turned pitch black. “Got ya.” My eyes closed.

I smirk. His face turns the color of ripe tomatoes and he bites his bottom lip.

My facial expressions go from shocked to horrified in seconds. What more do I have to play? Why is this happening to me? What could I have possibly done to deserve all of this? A lot ran through my mind, I don't know what to think anymore. "I hope you're ready for a little fun, you get to have a chance to travel the infernal realm, how lucky are you." He smirks a sinister smirk. His eyes are empty black sockets but it feels like he's staring into my soul.

“Xane.” He looked at me and smirked wider. Like he knew exactly what he was doing. Then he leaned closer and whispered, just low enough for only me to hear— “Miss me already?”

A slow, deliberate smirk curled on his lips. "Now this," he murmured, his voice smooth as velvet, laced with something wicked, "is a sight worth killing for."

He stared at me like he had something against me, and like he was ready to see me squirm. “I don’t believe I actually ever explained who I was to you.” His smirk was as dangerous as the devil’s, strong enough to break glass. Objectively, he was one of the most handsome men I had ever seen. With his hair as dark as midnight, his chiselled jaw, cerulean eyes, and a body like one of those Greek gods. But there was something sinister about him, something about his expression that would be considered ‘sinful’ to a set of women.
