In the one second she stared at it, Clea could see her own red eyes reflected in its eye socket spaces. Clea punched. She didn't think it through. She just had to defend herself, in whichever way possible. So she did just that. Once her hand entered its black mist, the creature screamed. Its scream sounded familiar to the scream Kali had just let out. It's disassembled into tiny wisps of smoke thereafter. It was only after it was gone that Clea realised she was panting. But there wasn't time to recover. Kali was still on the ground backing the bathroom door, still seeming unconscious. She carried her and proceeded to set her on the bed.

’ our mates voiced boomed in our head, trying to force submission but Echo shook his voice aside and snapped her head back to where Rowan stood. kala stretched forth his palms, and a large silver chain wrapped round his palms. kala rushed at Zeus with kill intent and blood lust. He unleashed the chains wrapped round his palm and launched it at Zeus. In motion the top part of the chains transformed into a double edge axe with the other connected to the lower part of the chain. Zeus threw his right axe up into the sky, leaving his right hand free. He stopped and grabbed the axe launched at him by kala with his bare hand, and crushed it into smithereens. kala didn't stop there, already infront of Zeus launched an assailant kick against Zeus chest. Before his feet could connect to the latter chest, a kick sent to his face hurled him feet

he asked, his tone softening into something almost tender. “I am sorry. But you have to do this, Calla. The twins are not what is best for the kingdom. Look around you … the war is tearing everything apart, and now I hear there is a plague spreading. People are dying in the villages. Rotting from the inside. We must save everyone. His eyes find Calla, and I ssee the flicker of fear. She turns, her ears twitching, and her gaze lands on Caius lying a few feet away. My brother isn’t moving. My chest twists. KALILA’S POV “Oh no! Get that diary away from her!” Nova exclaimed with panic in her voice. I still couldn’t believe my eyes, I was so scared and everything in me was trembling. Calla's POV After school, I let Riven drive us back home. No one spoke much. The silence wasn’t awkward, just peaceful. I started seeing my flow in school, so I didn't want noise.
