Third Person POV

Calla woke slowly the next morning. Sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a soft golden glow across the suite.

Adele was already awake, sitting cross-legged on the edge of the bed in her little nightdress. Her dark curls were messy from sleep, and she clutched her stuffed wolf tightly to her chest.

But she wasn’t looking at her mother.

Adele’s small face was turned away, her lips pressed into a pout. She didn’t say good morning.

She didn’t crawl over for a hug. She

  • RECLAIMING THEIR EX-BREEDER    Chapter 58: The Blizzard and the Kiss

Third Person POV Calla turned restlessly in the bed, the thick blankets twisted around her legs. Sleep had been light and broken. The dream from earlier still lingered at the edges of her mind, making her body feel too warm under the covers. She shifted again, trying to find a comfortable position. Then the blizzard outside woke her fully.A fierce gust of wind slammed against the cabin walls, rattling the windows. The howl was loud and angry, like a living thing trying to get inside. Snow whipped against the glass in violent bursts. The temperature in the room dropped noticeably.Calla shuddered, a small chill running down her spine. She sat up, rubbing her arms. The fire in the main room must have died down. She swung her legs over the side of the bed and walked to the window. The glass was frosted over. Outside, the world was a white blur. Visibility was almost zero. The blizzard had arrived in full force. She reached up to close the window more tightly, pulling the latch shut.

  • RECLAIMING THEIR EX-BREEDER    Chapter 57: Restless

Third Person POV Blade turned restlessly in his large bed, the sheets tangled around his hips. His long, elegant leg moved back, kicking the blanket off. The room was dark, lit only by the faint glow of the moon filtering through the heavy curtains. He had bathed three times already tonight, each one colder than the last, but the heat in his blood refused to die.His mind was stuck upstairs. The traitor. The woman who had taken his only heir and disappeared for years. The one he couldn’t wait to punish. He covered his face with both hands, pressing his palms hard against his eyes. But the images came anyway. Calla’s long legs wrapped around him. Her slim stomach arching under his touch. The way her long curly brown hair would spill across the pillow if he pinned her down.He gulped, his throat was dry.“I want to touch her,” he whispered into the darkness, voice rough and broken. “I really want to touch her.”A low whine escaped his chest. He hated the sound. Hated how weak it mad

  • RECLAIMING THEIR EX-BREEDER    Chapter 56: The Potato Incident

Third Person POV Blade looked offended. “Not everything.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a potato chunk wrapped in cloth. “I saved this.”Calla gasped. “That was meant for me!”He held it out like a peace offering. “I am generous by nature.”She snatched it, then threw it straight back at his chest.Blade caught it easily, looking almost pleased with himself. “Your aim is improving.”Calla groaned and dragged both hands down her face. The thick fur coat suddenly felt even heavier in the warm cabin. She was sweating, frustrated, and completely done with both of them.“Enough,” she muttered under her breath. She huffed loudly, turned on her heel, and walked angrily toward the hallway that led to the bedrooms. Her steps were heavy. The oversized fur coat swished around her legs like a ridiculous cape. She could feel their eyes on her back … Blade’s stormy stare and Brynne’s amused gaze … but she refused to look back. She started up the wooden stairs, still fuming. “Idiots. B

  • RECLAIMING THEIR EX-BREEDER    Chapter 55: Dinner and Defiance

Third Person POV That evening, Calla sat on the edge of her bed for a long time. The cabin was quiet except for the occasional crackle from the fireplace in the main room. She had been staring at the wall, repeating the same thoughts over and over.I cannot hide in this room for three whole days. I have to create a bond. The trial is about connection, not just survival. I have to face them. I have to be smart. She stood up, took a deep breath, and decided to go and get something to eat. She was really hungry, and the thought of hiding like a scared rabbit made her angry at herself. She walked to the wardrobe. The cabin was surprisingly warm from the fire, almost too warm. Her eyes landed on a pair of soft, short cotton shorts and a light top. Perfect for the heat. She reached for them, then paused.No.The image of Blade and Brynne flashed in her mind … their hungry eyes, the way they looked at her like she was something to devour. They were nothing but perverts when it came to

  • RECLAIMING THEIR EX-BREEDER    Chapter 54: The Cabin

Calla's POV I can do this. I can do this. The words repeated in my head like a mantra as I stood in front of the heavy wooden door of the secluded cabin. My heart hammered against my ribs. We had been teleported here only minutes ago, I could still see the bright flash of magic in my eyes. Before stepping inside, I had climbed the highest rocky point near the cabin just to look around. It was nothing but miles and miles of dense forest and mountains stretched in every direction. There were no other buildings and absolutely no other people. We were completely isolated.I would spend the first three days here with the twins. Then Tanya would take her turn for the next three. The thought made my stomach twist, but I pushed it down. I had to focus. I had to survive this with my dignity intact.Taking a deep breath, I pushed the door open. The cabin was surprisingly spacious and quiet.Wooden beams crossed the high ceiling. A large stone fireplace dominated one wall, already crackling

  • RECLAIMING THEIR EX-BREEDER    Chapter 53: Packing and Promises

Third Person POV Calla sat on the floor of the suite the next morning, surrounded by the things she would need for the cabin trial. The second trial was starting and it meant she had to spend three days of forced closeness with the twins in a secluded cabin. She had to be ready. Warm clothes, extra layers for the mountain chill, a small knife, flint, dried food, a water skin, and a few personal items that might help her stay focused.Adele sat cross-legged beside her, her dark curls messy from sleep. She was still in her nightdress, but her eyes were bright and eager to help. In her lap she held a small pile of folded socks.“These ones, Mommy?” Adele asked, holding up a pair of thick wool socks. “They are the warmest.”Calla smiled and nodded. “Yes, baby. Those are perfect. Put them in the bag.”Adele carefully placed the socks inside the leather pack, patting them down like they were precious treasures. She picked up a small comb next, tilting her head cutely. “And this? So you c
